This was a gift for my husband who has Parkinson's. The weight was what he liked best. You can bend it to get different angles on the food. The fork needs to be a little stronger. This set makes it easier for him to eat his food.
Ordered these because they were able to ship faster than Amazon. Figured with the price they would be junk and hold us over til the other set arrived. Well, they are very well made, and we cancelled our Amazon order. 1 utensil costs more there than the 4 pk here!
my child is autistic and has always had trouble using a spoon, to the point he just refuses to feed himself. the large handle makes it eiser for him to use with minimal help from me. my only wish is that i didn't have to buy the whole set for one piece.
A gentleman started getting arthritis in fingers. Kept dropping his fork. Ugh These utensils were perfect!
The utensils enabled my dad to feel independent again. He didn't have to rely on others to feed him.
Bought these utensils for my dad. He will be 89 this year. He has neuropathy in his hands and these big handles help him hold his utensils.
bought these for my mom bc she's having trouble with regular silverware and they are perfect, I will definitely be buying more for her to have
When my fingers are not cooperating (I mean, I am constantly dropping my normal utensils) I just grab my adaptive utensils and I'm able to continue with my meal with managing to get the food from the plate to my mouth
Wish the handles were smaller for someone who only has use of 2 fingers. Unable to grip the whole handle.
although the large grips are very helpful, the utensils bend much too easily, making some foods difficult to enjoy.
