This is the allergy medicine we've used for all our children. It works good. The kids don't seem to mind the flavor either.

No need to buy brand name!!!
Great taste! Works just as well as brand name. Not just for kids, sometimes having a liquid is just more soothing. Can mix 1:1 with glycerin and swish or gargle for mouth sores.

Equate allergy relief
My son has environmental along with a severe peanut allergy. We must buy allergy medication often and I think the equate brand is excellent. It has all the same active ingredients as the Benadryl brand for a more reasonable price.

Not as good as Benadryl
A lot of Equate stuff works just like the item it's compared to. However, this allergy medication doesn't last as long as Benadryl. My son has bad eczema and I sometimes have to give him Benadryl to help him stop itching and go to sleep. Anyway, he cries at 5 hours every time with Equate. 6 hours with Benadryl. Same dosage.
