Equate Collagen Moisturizer Day/Night Cream, 1.7 oz.

I have been using this moisturizer for years. I always found it in the store but lately they haven't had it. I'm happy Walmart sells it on their website.

Really nice, especially given the price. Well-rated on EWG, so it's non-toxic. Some people commented on the smell. It's totally fine, smells lightly of soap. I guess if you are used to scented products you might not love the smell, but it's not pungent.

I enjoyed that the main ingredient was water for starters. This product is very comparable to (Estee Lauders Day Wear Plus) daily moisturizer. I noticed improvements in fine lines and wrinkles within the first 10 days. Bravo Walmart! What an outstanding product you create and sell! And the price is amazing in comparison. I highly recommend this product.

I really like this moisturizer. I'm on my second jar. The price is great. I couldn't find this product when I went to the store so I bought a namebrand moisturizer. It didn't compare so I ordered the equate moisturizer online. I'm throwing the namebrand one away.

I used to use a brand name with the same ingredients and a far higher price. I decided to give this a try. It is far cheaper and the ingredients are the same. It is non-greasy and provides just the right amount of moisture level. I wear it all day and put it on before bed. My skin is terribly dry and I have to use something. But so many things are either greasy or like you have a lead mask on your face. This is just right.

It's much better than some of the more expensive moisturizers. This moisturizer doesn't dry my face out. It's creamy and had lots of moisture that seems to keep my skin fresh. It's hard to believe the price. I hope Walmart keeps the store stocked with it. It's hard to find now that the new products are coming in for the winter. That's why I bought more than one jar.

This used to be such a great inexpensive moisturizer! After a reformulation it seems they've added a disgusting unnecessary fragrance that smells awful. I applied hours ago and it's all I can smell. What gives?! I'll be finding a new moisturizer after one use of this new jar.

I use to live by this cream but recently I picked it up (12/11/25) and when applying I smelt an added fragrance. Before it wasn't scented or at least not potent but this one is so strong it makes me feel nauseous and urges me to want the product to air out once applied.

This used to be my go-to cream. It was thick, moisturizing, felt great on my aging skin. However, Walmart keeps changing the product, and not for the better. Jar size keeps getting smaller but more importantly, the product inside the jar keeps getting worse. This last purchase, the cream has lost all the thickness properties it once had, and the scent is unbearable. It's supposed to be unscented but now it has an overpowering floral smell. Who knows what the cream will be like in a couple of months (not me, I won't buy it again). This seems to be happening with a number of Equate products. I've always appreciated the Equate option, as they were nearly identical to the name brand but with a great savings. Not anymore. The products seem like they've farmed them out to the lowest bidder. The quality is not what it once was.

Walmart changed the ingredients, and the ratios of existing ingredients. The cream is now much thinner, more watered down. It is nowhere near as moisturizing as it used to be. It now has a sharp, unpleasant scent, and it stings my skin when I apply it. I am very certain about the ingredient change, because I wrote out a list of the ingredients in the new cream and the old cream- I had the boxes from each at home- by hand, which took a LONG time. (The ingredients are visible on the Walmart site, as well.) I then compared them. I knew after applying some of the cream in the newest jar that something was wrong; I now wanted to know where, and how. I have sold beauty products for over 30 years; I study ingredients in products. I wanted some clarification as to why my favorite cream no longer moisturized my skin and also was now hurting my face. It became clear that Walmart had made a lot of changes to this product. There are too many deviations to list, but the one that really stood out was that Collagen is now the *second to the last ingredient* in a list of 41 ingredients in the new formulation. In the old formulation- which is no longer available- Collagen was 12th in a list of 40 ingredients. The farther down an ingredient is in a product's list, the smaller amount of that ingredient is in that the product. It is obvious there a *tiny* amount of collagen in the new formulation of this cream- probably the smallest amount possible so they could still legally label the product “Collagen.” (Cheaper to make, perhaps?) The reformulation has ruined this product for me. My skin is very dry and sensitive, and this cream had been perfect, as it gave it a lot of moisture and acted as a barrier in the dry, colder weather without feeling heavy. It never pilled up on my skin. This new stuff feels like you took the old cream, watered it down, and added rubbing alcohol to it. (They didn't literally add rubbing alcohol, but the stinging sensation after applying it makes it feel that way.) I now have to look for a new cream. Which is too bad. I loved this cream. It worked well, and it was a great buy. I don't know why you did what you did to this cream, Walmart, but I sure wish you hadn't done it.
