I can't express how much I appreciate that this is exactly the same as the name brand product (Mucinex), only cheaper. With the cost of prescription medication being so high with no relief in sight, it's wonderful to essentially purchase the name brand product at a MUCH cheaper price.

Equate Mucus Relief is hands down the most effective thing I've ever taken. But I need to speak directly to whoever designed this pill: Who hurt you? Because this is not medicine. This is a challenge. This is a “clear your schedule and hydrate aggressively” type of situation. I picked one up and immediately felt judged. They're huge. As in, they make all the other pills feel inadequate. Like it knew I wasn't ready. Like it had standards I had not yet met. There's a whole ritual now. Water? Not enough. Confidence? Shaken. Dignity? Already gone. You don't just swallow it—you negotiate. You reconsider your life. You whisper, “be gentle,” knowing full well it won't be. And when you finally commit? Oh, you're aware. Of everything. Time slows down. Your soul briefly leaves your body and watches from a distance like, “this is really happening.” And yet… I go back for more. Because the RESULTS?? Crystal clear breathing. So yes—10/10. Would recommend. Just know… it's not a casual experience. It's a full-body, mind-altering, “text your friends afterward” kind of event.

The same dosage strength and active ingredients as Humibid DM or Mucinex DM in an extended release tablet. Helps moisturize the sinuses and lungs. One tablet every 12 hours helps suppress coughing while making it easier to cough up mucus. Maximum OTC dosage of these long used ingredients. A reduced dosage may be required for older persons or those on multiple medications. Consult your health care provider.

It's a great medicine but please beware if you are taking other meds it might interact. Watch for the DM part - anything that says DM or has Dextromethorphan in the ingredients list. Just make sure it doesn't cause interaction with your prescription meds. Otherwise it's a great medicine.

I love using equate mucus pills. I started using it after having bronchitis a while back. And I have been using it ever since. The price is great compared to name brand mucus pills esp since it does the same thing. Ask the pharmacist about this mucus pill. it is worth in my case. Oh and the pill is a big if you get Max strength.

I got the Equate Mucus Relief Max Strength, Cough Suppressant DM Tablets. This package came in a 14 Count. It's a great medicine to have in your medicine arsenal.  The Equate Mucus Relief Max Strength, Cough Suppressant DM Tablets, 14 Count works just as well as the name brand medicine, maybe better. The capsules are standard size and easy to swallow. I'm very satisfied withe the performance and how well this Equate Mucus Relief Max Strength, Cough Suppressant DM Tablets work. If you want to save a few dollars this cough and cold season. You won't be dissatisfied. Works great!

Made me extremely dizzy and nauseous. However, it didn't have that effect on my 14 year old son. Instructions say there is no need to take with food so I took it on a completely empty stomach but I'm not sure if that had any bearing on the side effects I experienced. I can say that it did loosen my son's mucus. Unfortunately, the nausea I'm experiencing is overshadowing any benefits for me.

Absolutely massive pill. Comes in a tiny little bottle which leads you to believe that the pills are standard size, but it's all a ploy. They are close to triple the size of any other expectorants. The coating on them is also pretty much non-existent because they feel super grainy and get stuck in my throat. Im going back to name brand because these are literally a choking hazard.

These pills used to be great and an amazing value compared to the original, but they reformulated them and made them so much larger and difficult to swallow. Why would they change a pill to make it larger instead of the opposite? I was disappointed when I received the new version. I will probably stop buying them because the larger size and shape are just too hard to swallow.

I will never take this medicine again. Generic or name brand since they both have the same active ingredients. I woke up feeling so high and anxious! I had diarrhea, dizziness, headache and horrible nausea. I spent my day in bed with my eyes closed waiting for the medicine to wear off. These symptoms lasted over 24hrs. My stomach is still upset. This made my cold into something worse! If you're sensitive to meds don't take this, trust me.
