I have used these tablets when I've had bothersome congestion. When I catch colds, I always suffer from annoying stuffy and/or runny nose. Sometimes the mucus runs down my throat while I'm laying in bed and I end up nauseous. These tablets definitely help me get rid of the congestion. When I take them as directed I am able to get rid of lots of gross mucus while blowing my nose. I am also better able to sleep and not feel like my congestion is making it hard to breath. The tablets are rather large, but they go down fine with some big gulps of water.

Only took a star off for the size! These are huge like horse pills. I'm thinking this is to inspire lots of water drinking to get them down? If you're sick you should be drinking a lot anyway…Other than that if you can swallow them they do work great at clearing up your nasal passages so you can breathe better. The Equate Mucus relief medicine is handy when you have a cold and are congested. Although it won't get rid if your cold per day, the medicine does help break up mucus so you aren't as congested. It's basically like a decongestant medicine. I found it helpful in that regard.

This medicine did help a little with my chest congestion after I had RSV. It took a couple of doses to start working. I like that it's tablets and not a nasty tasting liquid you have to swallow. It did raise my blood pressure a little, but that's an individual thing. If you have high blood pressure, just be careful.
