Equate Deep Cleaning Astringent for Sensitive Skin, 10 fl oz

I've used so much different acne medicines, creams, pads, etc and nothing has came close to using this. when I finish using it with my cotton ball you can see all the dirt that was on your face. I always thought my face was clean until I started using this. my face feels clean and you can see the dirt come off. I absolutely love this product! never going back!

This makes my skin feel clean. I don't use it every day but when you want to clean up built up makeup this works great! I don't really get pimples cause I'm older so I mainly just use it as a cleanser. I mean I do wash my face in the morning but at least once or twice a week I try to apply this as well.

Uncertain as to whether it may have been just my bottle of astringent, or all of them, my bottle of astringent smelled like Juniper Berries. It's supposed to smell like Menthol Eucalyptus. It smells remotely similar to “Noel Home fragrance”, from Crabtree %26 Evelyn. Concerned, individuals might be sabotaging Equate Brand products. Not Good. Eat at “RuSan's”, (good) !

It works but they changed the formula and ingredients! Smells nasty, literally throwing away %26 not even bothering with a return! Change it back Walmart!

Short - they drastically changed ingredients and it smells like old cheese %26 dog poop. GONE - eucalyptus oil; clove oil; parfum NEW - % of BENZOIC acid is higher; ‘fragrance’ instead of parfum. New UPC %26 short model numbers. They should have changed the name!

I am highly disappointed in the change of formula recently (03/2026). Removing the Eucalyptus %26 Clove Leaf was a mistake. This product now smells awful like PineSol that has turned to vinegar combined with stinky feet. I have used the original product for over 20 years, but will no longer purchase it due to the acrid smell.

I used to love this astringent- the price was great, the smell was pleasant, and it made my skin feel fresh and clean. I was using the Walmart app to scan the barcode to reorder it and they shipped me an astringent that has a different barcode, different ingredients, and a terrible smell. So I checked the app again, scanned the barcode of the good astringent and it pulls up the other one. So I'm guessing they've changed the formulation? Sad, bc the old formula was better!! Will be returning this stinky bottle.

i absolutely hate it. it smells horrible, leaves a taste around my mouth, doesn't leave the skin feeling clean nor tingly. leaves a film. leaves it itchy after a few hours and broke me out. this was my replacement for the sensitive sea breeze and im not sure why equate would ever compare this product to that flawless one. the worst dupe equate has ever put on the shelves. i used that sea breeze for 3 months straight morning and night and never had a breakout literally. but with this, i had a pimple by 10pm. gross.

I re-ordered this product because I'd purchased it many times. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the formula change. The smell of it now is genuinely awful, like bug spray or some kind of industrial cleaner. I tried to tough it out and keep applying it, but had to stop and wash it off my hands and face. There will be no further purchases from me.
