Equate Diabetic Care Nutritional Shakes, Vanilla, 8 fl oz, 24 Count Compare to Glucerna Vanilla

Excellent healthy product especially for diabetics. Tastes good and has a lot of vitamins in it. The only problem I have is individual bottles are difficult to open. They should just sell bottles with twist caps.

These shakes that I buy from Walmart are good for a nice food replacement instead of eating junk food for protein and light carbs for people who are either Diabetics or just want to control their diet also it's cheaper than the other brands I've tried and tastes the same as the name-brand shakes.

Love this product! My parents are on a budget and they drink this daily. This product has the exact nutrients as the more expensive name brand one. Low sugar with a good amount of protein. It has an easy open cap that my parents do not need to struggle with. The taste is not chalky. Very smooth consistency. The vanilla flavor is easily blended with fruits and veggies to make it a full meal. Fully recommend this product to help make a quick nutrient packed smoothie when on the run or short on time.

All good on cost and taste but the "easy to open" claim is a lie. It's challenging to open every single time.

I have been using these for many years now. They advertise that they don’t cause BG spikes. They generally do not. If my blood glucose is in range I take one of these before bedtime. The only drawback I have found, it includes vitamin C. Since I have been using a Continuous BG monitor, they asked me not to use too much vitamin C, as it can change the accuracy of the monitor. I’ve limited myself to one or two each day, as I have found that too many other materials also contain a day’s supply of vitamin C also. Before I began using the continuous monitor I would use several of these daily.

I really like these nutritional drinks. ive been trying for months to reorder the cases of 24 but they have been out of stock for months. i have had to purchase another brand who only sells a case of 16 which cost more. im really disappointed.

The shakes themselves are wonderful. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because the individual shakes are VERY DIFFICULT TO OPEN. I often have to use tweezers, small scissors, or even a knife to get past the plastic strip. I cannot imagine if my 87 year old mother had to open them herself.

I think this company needs to make the caps more easier to open. being a senior citizen it’s hard for me to take the plastic off to open it.

don't confuse these diabetic bottles with the original. even though the cap reads easy open they are not. need to use a knife to cut the plastic

The drink was actually very good and smooth. A small size bottle is good. However, it is so difficult to open I would use a knife and then it would punctured bottle. And it still took five minutes. Walmart was very kind and they gave me a credit. I just wish they made this in an easier bottle to open. After I bought it and a lot of people had complained about how difficult it was to open and I should’ve paid more attention and that I was paying more attention to cost. I compared it to friends other types of drinks when I would bring mine to open so many other drinks were so much easier to open it was kind of sad. Please beware I’m taking the time to write this because I have never in my life to difficult I will I hope they find a different way to package this.
