Save yourself the heartache and grief. Stay away from blue dyes. Tested twice and got a faint positive within a minute both times. Tried a different brand the next day and got an immediate negative. Spend the extra money to get a name brand with pink dyes, especially if you are dealing with infertility and have gone through the emotions of negative tests before. Nothing hurts like seeing a positive line then breaking down when you realize it was a false reading.
I bought these because I used the purple $.88 ones with my last pregnancy and they worked just fine. so of course I was one of those who didn't read the reviews and got the faint positive lines. two boxes and four purple and they all read the same. until I bought a clear blue and sadly got a negative result. I knew not to get myself all excited but it was hard not to.
I bought this test a few months ago and it was positive so I bought another just to make sure and it was positive also. Long story short I ended up buying 3 packs of 2 and all were positive then I took a name brand I think it was ClearBlue and it was negative.
Like so many others, I did not read the reviews before purchasing, as pregnancy tests are generally something you simply grab while you're at the store. I took one test and ended up needing to do something right after, so I left the test for 30 minutes. When I came back, I was shocked that there was a thin blue line in the test window. I retested to look within the 3-10 min window established for most PTs. Again, a fainter but still blue line appeared and this time it was within the time frame. It was odd to me the line was so thin compared to the control and also fainter, as I had used the same urine sample obtained from the first test.I took the only other test I had, a digital. As you can see from the photo, it was negative, but I did some reading that digitals are less sensitive and that it's not unheard of to get a on a dye test before a digital. I then read that blue dye tests were known to give evaporation lines, often confused for positives;although typically colorless. These lines were blue, so I was skeptical, but still hopeful. The next day I went and bought early response pink dye tests, which was negative. I then tested the following morning also negative. Not only did I experience unnecessary disappointment, I had to spend extra money trying to understand the results of this test. I'm just happy that my husband didn't see the false positives, as this would have been even more upsetting. I have only been TTC for 3 months, I can't even imagine the pain of the women who have been struggling for years, only to have their excitement immediately crushed. The fact that I like received 2 faulty tests with in the same package is ridiculous. I understand they are cheap, but if you can't deliver a reliable and valid test for the cost, raise the price Walmart to make the test better. In the mean time, these need to be removed from shelves.
Absolutely horrible! My husband and I have been trying to conceive for awhile now and this morning I finally got my first postive! It was clear as day and we were beyond excited. I got curious to what the reviews said about the test, so I checked on here and noticed that it has terrible reviews. I noticed that the postive line on the test was off center and from reading on here people were saying its a evap line. I got extremely discouraged and went to the store to buy some more. I tested again with a Clear Blue digital test and it said not pregnant. We had our hopes up for nothing and I cannot even begin to explain how heartbroken I am. Please don't waste your money on this product! I highly recommend First Response or Clear Blue test. Even though they are a little more expensive, they are completely worth it and don't get your hopes up over nothing. Hope this helps!
I was 14dpo and one day late. I got a very, very faint positive and was so happy as I've been ttc the past 6 months after an ectopic. I planned to use the second test this morning hoping for a darker line and instead woke up to af. The accuracy of this test is very misleading and heart breaking. I will never by this brand or product again and will let my friends and family know as I don't want them going through the same emotional rollercoaster as I am going through.
False positive after TTC for almost a year. Got my husband and I all excited. Went to the doctor and they said I wasn't pregnant. Most heartbreaking thing ever.
So I got these test I have a very dark like and a thin blue line and I'm sad cause idk if it's a fake positive or a real one because of all the comments but I'm going out in 2 days to see if I get 2 lines ..
Got a very visible blue line less than five minutes after Taking the test. Tried four other types, got my hopes Up, everything is negative. These are trash. This is happening to a Lot of people.
These gave me two false positives now im dissapointed. And super upset. Granted my tests were super faint but everyone knows that a line is a line. These need to be taken off the self. I will never buy these again
