This was a great buy! I truly felt my aches and inflammation diminish. when I need to unwind and rest my exhausted body it's bath time with this amazing mineral. It dissolves like other bath salts, no issues whatsoever. If equate decides to make this in a 20 lbs bag, that would be great to keep me stocked up. Thank you Walmart and Equate for a wonderful product.
I have purchased this product for many years and it's always consistent quality and quantity for the money. It's works Great in a jet tub or bathtub when it dissolves and you soak in it for 15 minutes or more. It reduces swelling in your extremities and is a great pain relief with the hot water. I can't imagine not having it.
As an aging cancer survivor with brittle skin I am aware that I bruise easily. Yet I'm still active and therefore overdo and find myself with aches and pains. Taking a bath in epsom salts help. The additional benefit of arnica helps and seems to reduce the bruising I get on my legs and forearms from active gardening, biking and horseback riding. Salts dissolve fast. This is as good as the Drs brand for my skin. As always I can get this in my region from Walmart when ordering groceries. Easy to buy and use!
I love a hot bath and I love arnica in my Epsom salts because it really does make a difference in the aches and pains you have I found this luckily inside Walmart I didn't know they had a bag this large but it'll save you a lot if you use one cup of this with one cup of your smelly, good Epsom salts! I use 2 cups of salts in a hot bath for 20 min - it will change your life if you have pain
I used this for bruising and swelling during recovery from a snake bite. I'm not sure if it works any better than ordinary Epson salt but arnica is suppose to be good for recovery and bruising.
The Epsom salt is super great for relaxing in the tub after a hard workout. It's great for your skin, relaxes all those overworked muscles. I also use it for my feet. Having diabetic neuropathy it helps my feet loosen up and reduce the tingles I get. It's a great product hope you try it.
I have very sore muscles. I was advised by the doctor to take a bath every day so I started using Epson salt and I'm familiar with Arnica. I love it.
I love this for relaxation and aches and pains. I put in a nice hot bath and soaked with a big old glass of ice water.
Really like the bigger bag. This stuff saves me at least once a week when I've overdone it. Big fan of the arnica. It really makes a difference.
Long days working a stressful job and being on my feet for 12 to 14 hour shifts along with connective tissue disease has led me to seek out some more natural remedies to help with the crazy intense pain I sometimes get. I found Epsom salts years ago to be one of the most effective over the counter remedies on the market. Soaking in a 1/2 full bathtub filled with really warm water and a couple of cups of salts for about 20 minutes helps take the ache out of my ankles, knees and hips and helps relax achey leg muscles. I was glad to try these Equate brand Epsom Salts with Arnica to see if they might help even more. I know Arnica is a natural remedy known to help joint swelling and soreness and even helps bruises heal. I appreciate that these salts have no scent of any kind as I can be quite sensitive. I very much like that these are not the hard clumps that take forever to dissolve, rather they are a crystalline sand with no clumps at all. They are very easy to mix with the bath water and the dissolve quickly within a minute or two. There are only 2 listed ingredients - Epsom salts and Arnica Montana but there is a note on the bag that says it may contain traces of Almonds. I do question how that type of contamination could occur without there being other unwanted things in there as well. If I were allergic to nuts I don't know I would expect a product like this to be contaminated with them. Also, I find it curious that there is no concentration or definitive amount or the Arnica mentioned. Does that mean there could be variable amounts depending on different batches? One good thing is my skin tends to be dry after soaking in Epsom salts, and it seemed to be a little less so with this product. But I always rinse off well when I get out of the tub and apply a body lotion after I dry off. As far as helping my aches and pains -I used this three different times. Only once did I feel a significant difference in how I felt after soaking using this instead of my plain Epsom salts. It just happened on that day that I only worked half a day and my body did not hurt nearly as bad as it does after a full day, but I was still quite achey and sore. I felt so much better after soaking that I got a really good night's rest which is very rare for me. To be honest, it could be that my connective tissue disease causes me to have so much inflammation at times that it makes it difficult to predict how I will respond to remedies like this. I may see a difference depending on how long I have worked in a day or how quiet the inflammation I always have in my body might be for the moment. I certainly plan to continue using this product, as the price is fair and I want to give it every chance to work. All in all, unless you have a nut allergy I would say to give it a try.
