This again is an easy review because the 5hr energy brand is much more expensive than the equate brand. The both have the exact same ingredients but the equate brand tastes better and doesn't have that bad niacin aftertaste, and also for a 15ct pack I save $8 when I buy equate rather than the more expensive 5hr energy brand!

I find it a great value for the money, making it affordable. Read precautionary statements for health. It helps me carry me past the 5 hour time frame. It has as much caffine as a strong cup of coffee. No sugar.

This is a less expensive product but has the same results as the 5Hr Energy. I highly recommend it to anybody who wants the energy and save money at the same time.

Bought these due to name brand ones being out. Exceeded my expectations, same effect, and lower price. The only complaint is they are harder to open( thicker plastic wrap)

My husband is a trucker and he takes this to help him when ever he starts to feel like he needs a boost if engery. He says it works every time. He prefers this brand out of all that he has tried

I've used this brand for 2yrs,its the only thing that makes me feel like I'm awake without shaking and feeling "out of it" mentally. I'm 75 and need the boost of energy it provides.

Good generic/equivalent to name brand. Tastes good. A little tough to get open, but thats no reason to not buy it. Def' child proof which I agree, of course, is a good idea. I keep one or two in my car for long drives. Prevents drowsiness without making me jittery and without having to make frequent pit stops. :-)

Taste is just passable, and the caps are incredibly difficult to unwrap. But I think the grape tastes better than the berry. I drink one just before I brush my teeth, so the taste doesn't linger, and it definitely wakes me up in the morning. As well, the store brand is less expensive than the name brand.

smells okay tastes absolutely horrifying and extremely sour gave me swelling from beyond normal sour in my throat and mouth. extreme amount of purple dye coloring. flinsy cardboard box bottles fell everywhere when carefully opened. extremely awfull i will never pay for it again and way to much stickybess when spilling. it's as bad a as Kool aid with tons of sugar stickiness. just buy five hour from now on even if i have to collect cans if the streets to afford it!!!

This is so nasty and cheaply put together. No where near the quality I've come to expect from the Equate brand. When you take the lids off there is some nasty product dried up in the threads. They don't even seal the box. Pay the extra for the real 5 hour brand. This is a waste of money.
