Equate Extra Strength Pain Reliever PM Caplets, Acetaminophen 500 mg, Diphenhydramine HCL 25 mg, 80 Count

I usually only buy these when my regular brand isn't available, but they work the same. These caplets help take the edge off headaches and mild migraines, and the PM formula helps some people (not me) relax enough to actually get some rest instead of tossing and turning in pain. Getting good sleep when you're hurting makes a big difference, and these help with that. I'm not a huge fan of the pill size because they can be a little difficult to swallow sometimes, especially when you're already not feeling well. That said, the effectiveness makes up for it. They work very similar to the more expensive name brand versions, but at a much more affordable price. Overall, this is a solid budget-friendly option if you need nighttime pain relief. You don't always have to spend extra money just for the brand name when the Equate version provides the same relief and helps you get the rest you need.

I have arthritis so bad, sleeping was almost impossible. Doctor prescribed a muscle relaxer that was only good for a few hours. My sister suggested I try these and so glad I did. Finally got a good night sleep. Even woke up with less pain for about an hour. Now using Equate version of arthritis strength Tylenol in daytime. No side effects thus far.

Fluttering products such as medicine over the counter is always at reasonable rate and if they have to replace it with something else so be comparable to it

For a long time, if I woke up in the middle of the night because of pain. I thought I might try this instead of my prescription anti inflammatory. With my regular medicine I would have to get up and eat something so it wouldn't bother my stomach. Now, I know that acetaminophen isn't an anti inflammatory, but mix that with a sleep aid is a good idea for me.

This product fills 2 purposes: 1) pain and inflammation relief, and 2) assistance with sleep. I have been using it for quite a while, so I knew it worked well. My husband was not sleeping well after a fall. He was reluctant to use acetaminophen, as he thought it didn't work for him. I reminded him that it worked on inflammation and sleep as well. He tried it, and was able to sleep restfully through the night! He was impressed! Now it is part of his nightly regimen, at least until the inflammation is gone!

Works just the same as the expensive brand there's no difference and I wish you guys would keep it more in stock because a lot of times it is out of stock. I know it's a seller because it tells me when I order it. How many peoples this is in how many people purchased it in the last 24 hours.. but overall love the product

Living in the Greater Chicagoland area and experiencing chronic pain that is enhanced by weather (one day 75 and sunny followed by rain and temp in low 60s followed by wind that cuts right through you by to a night w more rain while temp is trying to reach freezing) takes a lot out of anyone with arthritis and in their mid 70's. You pull out the heating pad, raise the feet, and try to sleep. After tossing and turning and trying to read to feel drowsy, the body is screaming at you “GOTCHA”. Herbal tea doesn't help, so you reach for pain relief so you can get some sleep. Equate Extra Strength PM Pain Relief is there for the rescue! Acetaminophen extra strength (500 mg) is combined with Diphenhydramine sleep aid for enough relief so you can sleep. Same ingredients as some brand name products but at a great price reduction, Specifically designed cap makes it easier for arthritic hands to open. Check with your doctor regarding how much you should take-I personally take 1 capsule with plenty of water or juice or tea, give it a good half hour to work, then take another capsule if needed. These are instructions I received from my doctor. Beware of the amount of acetaminophen taken per day because too much (more than 4000 mg total in 24 hours) can lead to liver damage and other complications. Works great-saves you money over brand name drugs-easy grip cap- all together means RELIEF and SLEEP. For me it actually works as well as some prescription medications but I don't need to worry about problems associated with prescription pain relief. As always CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR or PHARMACIST before taking. Take only as needed to prevent side effects.

I bought this because it said PM , it did work as acetaminophen, however for3 it didn't work for the PM part. I will just stick to the Equate Extra Strength Acetaminophen.

FOLLOW-UP: I WISH I COULD'VE BEEN GIVEN A CHANCE TO CHANGE THE%23 OF BOTTLES I COULD GET FOR THE SAME $5.97 PRICE. SINCE THE ORIGINAL WASN'T AVAILABLE FROM TYLENOL, I SHOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO INCREASE THE TOTAL BOXES AT $2.38 each, SO I WOULD'VE GOTTEN 2 BOTTLES INSTEAD (maybe even 3) @ $1.20 each. DEFINITELY BEEN SAVING SOME COINS 💰. NOTHING NOTICEABLE

I ordered a package with 80 tablets for $5.67 and I received 3 packages of 20 (60) that cost $7.18. I wouldn't of paid that much. There was another package with 100 tablets that only cost $5.96. They can have these back when my next order is delivered!
