These seem flushable and ok for plumbing. But check for yourself before you buy. You don’t want to get a fatberg in your system, and flushable wipes are infamous for them. Adam Ruins Everything has a great video about this. For more information consult with your plumber. Complications can occur if your toilet has had surgery or is on anticoagulants. If you or your toilet are pregnant or plan to become pregnant consult with your doctor or plumber before use. Side effects may include: a cleaner behind, removal of fecal matter, and feeling better about yourself. Wipes are not a substitute for showering and proper hygiene. Wash hands before and after use. Butt wipes. Don’t use anything butt.
As with all so-called flushable wipes, DO NOT FLUSH THESE. Other than that, they are pleasant, strong enough for intended use, and the perfume (Fresh Scent variety) is pleasant and not overpowering. I am just now starting the first pack of 48 in a 5-pack (total 240 wipes total). I hope the new, revised closure, a sticky piece of thin, soft plastic, is as airtight as the older hard plastic snap-lid seemed to be. 48 in the package could conceivably be carried in a purse for when you're away from home, or you could put a selected number of them in a small snack size zipper lock bag.
These wipes are the best I have ever used. They are thick and smell wonderful. The only issue I have is they say they are “flushable”. None of these wipes should be flushed down the toilets so I do wish you would take that off the packaging. Other than that, these are the only ones we use in our household!!!
They get the job done! However, I don't flush them, as I have a septic tank. Good value for the money with this multipack. Started using them after having surgery and needing something for, shall we say "freshness" when limited mobility interfered with my usual routines. Handy for invalids or anyone who sometimes needs a bit more cleanliness than toilet paper alone can provide.
Flushable? Just because you can, does not mean you should. These wet-wipes are a marvelous modern convenience. After some standard paperwork, they are a welcome final touch for fresh cleanliness. But Flushable? If you have a Septic Tank, these wipes will not break down, and will become part of the permanent non-organic solids that will eventually need to be pumped out of your Septic Tank (and those pump trucks are emptied into a public sewer system). If these are flushed into the public sewer system, waste treatment plants have to take an extra step in their non-organic solids removal, as these are caught, with other stuff, and sent to a landfill. That extra work shows up in everyones sewer bill. Use regular toilet paper to start, and that can obviously be flushed. Finish up with the wet-wipe, and then roll it up tight in a piece of regular toilet paper. Put that in the waste basket, the same as many feminine hygiene products. See, it does not have to be flushed! The Equate Wet Wipes in the 5-Pack is a great deal, and a Very Welcome modern convenience. Please use responsibly. Per Google: Wet wipes, even those labeled "flushable," are a major problem for waste treatment plants because they don't break down like toilet paper, instead forming large, costly blockages (fat-bergs) with grease in sewer lines and damaging pumps and screens, leading to expensive repairs, infrastructure issues, and potential sewage backups, requiring plants to manually remove huge amounts of non-biodegradable material, ultimately paid for by taxpayers. The simple rule is: only pee, poo, and toilet paper belong in the toilet; everything else, especially wipes, should go in the trash.
I bought a single pack of these first, and there was a snap top seal to open and close the package. In the multipack, however, they cheaped out and used a sticky peel away flap. The first several wipes are impossible to remove without shredding them to bits, and the resealable flap stops sticking before the wipes are all used.
I ordered unscented n received Fresh Smell. I hate this scent in the wipes. Fresh Scent doesn’t smell like baby powder but that’s exactly what you get. I’m allergic to baby powder n these trigger migraines in me. In addition, trying to pull out one wipe, you get several at a time. Not several full wipes but pieces of several wipes. Never an entire wipe to use for whatever need you have. I didn’t take any pics n I should have.
I have purchased several packages of Walmart brand’s baby wipes. These were ABSOLUTELY the worst. The packaging did not stay closed after removing each wipe and the worst part is the wipes themselves kept tearing into small pieces. WILL NEVER IRDER AGAIN!
These flusheble wipes clog toilets because they do not dissolve. Just as a test to see if this was in fact the problem we put one wipe in a cup of warm water at five twenty two p m on saturday evening and it is now nine a m monday morning and it has not dissolved at all even if we stir it or swish it around.
I was very disappointed in the equate wipes so cheaply made fall apart can’t get one at a time comes out several wipes an torn I can’t believe the quality is so bad I will never buy them again I gave some away to granddaughter’s that said the same thing don’t waste your money thank you judy Murphy Disappointed
