I bought this online first and then found it in the stores. The bottle size is bigger than any others I have seen and the ones I bought actually have a flip top cap instead of the pump nozzle, which I prefer. The product itself is comparable to other brands that cost just as much for bottles less than half this size. A little bit goes a long way and it leaves your hands feeling actually soft and smooth after use. Granted, it does have that strong alcohol smell during application but that fades away upon drying for the most part. Best bang for your buck out there!
Arrived quckly, intact as expected. Have used this for years.
Works well and lasts long
A must have for fu season and now the coronavirus
The moisturizing effect is quite good actually! It still sanitizes but doesnt leave my hands all dry like other sanitizers.
First thing you notice is the smell: good God, it is unpleasant. Smells like expired Fabuloso with mildew or some dying fruits or flowers. Thought I had a bad bottle--it has no seal--but then it was confirmed by a few other reviewers. But once it is on your hands, you feel clean, sanitized, and moisturized... with an old floral fragrance. I would recommend this as a last resort since it is under 4 dollars (at time of purchase).
was glad to find some at the store during the COVID-19 pandemic, but unlike Sam's Club Members Mark brand sanitizer, the Equate sanitizer seems to have some sort of off putting smell from one of the additives. Some bottles are also sold with a flip top and not a pump.
I know we're supposed to be grateful whenever sanitizer is in stock, but this is NOT the same sanitizer that used to be inside the giant 34 oz Equate pumps. Sanitizer should not smell like this (especially when the scent is not listed) and more importantly, it shouldn't make your fingers sticky. At first it feels watery. Then it feels like glue - my fingers were sticking together. Eventually, the stickiness subsides, but this is FAR TOO MUCH WORK for a product that needs to be easy to use, particularly these days. Bring back the old formula. Everything is difficult enough -- why make sanitizer shopping difficult?
I've purchased four of these and had to return them all. They werent sealed, closed with tape, all smelled different and fruity, and was watery. This is not the original Equate hand sanitizer.
Smells awful!!! This smells nothing like the ones I used to buy.
