Well, I probably have to fill out a 150 reviews on this. Because we buy it every week. 212 packs a week for me and my husband we've both been drinking one a day for energy in the morning, also for all the protein and vitamins and oh my God, it's so delicious. I love the vanilla , my favorite kind , very , very tasty milkshake , you'll love it
The chocolate is really good especially super cold from the back of the fridge. You can also blend it with banana or what you like. It's not thick and icky like ensure and some of the other meal replacements. I hate breakfast so but I will take 30g protein with 160 calories for 12 for $20 everyday of the week.
I have Neuropathy in my feet which includes much swelling. But I've noticed the swelling has gone down since using Equate chocolate Protein Shake on a regular basis. I've tried to see if something rlse was reducing the swelling. but I keep coming back to Equate Protein Shakes.
I've been buying the Equate vanilla protein shakes for many years but recently noticed a change in my aging taste buds. I recently decided to try the chocolate protein shakes %26 I was hooked. It is now my favorite Equate Protein Shake. So, please don't buy these out at my Walmart store as I must have them. (sarcasm)
These shakes have 30 grams of protein and the texture is smooth, not chalky or with a funky aftertaste. I am so happy that I gave them a try because they are less expensive and taste better than some expensive brands that I have chunked into the trash can.
I've been buying these for 5 years now and when they switched to the blue boxes recently it seems like every couple of cases taste funny, but then you will get one that taste just fine. Not sure the reason and not sure what do about it so I'm going to switch once I run out. :(
The taste of this High Protein version is terrible compared to other Equate nutritional shakes (the 8 ounce Plus and 11 ounce Meal Replacement Shakes) we've had before. I checked the ingredient list afterward and now see this has sucralose in it, which is my assumption for the nasty taste. Will not be ordering this again.
So disappointed!! Purchased these for years %26 enjoyed them, however when my husband %26 I recently opened the latest box, we immediately noticed a definite chemical taste that was also brassy-metallic tasting. We then read some reviews %26 discovered the ingredients had changed. We always have plenty in our home stock so by the time we opened the box with new ingredients, the return date had expired. So now we're stuck with 2 boxes (22 count left of chocolate flavor %26 our money gone down the drain! Disgusting- it was fine %26 didn't need changing!
I really wanted to like these, because they were so much cheaper than the Orgain, which has become too expensive. However, they tasted almost medicinal, and I felt a bit sick after drinking it. The aftertaste was nauseating. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with 11 more of these. But I will not be buying them again.
I buy these shakes for years every month for years but there's something wrong with this batch. Totally congealed and difficult to get out of carton, taste not as good or normal either. If the next carton I open is the same I'm taking my 2 cases back
