I love this eye drop because it is not white and creamy like some of them. My eyes have gotten increasingly dryer as I age and I can use this as many times as I need to throughout the day. I'm always a fan of saving money too. I think this works equally as well as Sustane for a lot less money. I love that it comes in a two-pack also because I like to keep one at home and one in my purse for use while I'm at work. I also use this as an eye wash when I find that there is an eyelash in my eye. It helps wash out the lash without needing to use my finger, which is not very sanitary.
My daughter has had many eye surgeries resulting in her lids not completely closing when asleep. She normally used Systane, but then tried these for the heck of it. They are exactly the same!
I've been using these for several years and have never experienced any negative issues with them. For me, they work fine, and they are noticeably less expensive than Systane, which is what I originally used. Personally, I haven't noticed any significant difference between the two. So that I can easily access them when I need them, for convenience I keep several bottles around the house (desk, bathroom, nightstand, etc.).
After having PRK eye surgery a few years ago, my vision was corrected but my eyes dry out way more often than they ever did before. I'm OK with that trade-off, but it means keeping eye drops close at hand most of the time, especially on the night stand as we run fans in the bedroom at night and that dries my eyes out even more. I put a couple drops in each eye before bed, sometimes in the middle of the night, and often in the morning. These are soothing and make my eyes feel better immediately. I love that they are so much cheaper than the big brands but work the same.
This product has the same ingredients as Systane Lubricant Eye Drops. Substitute ONLY if the product has the same EXACT ingredients.
Drops work fine, but top is almost impossible to remove! I like these better than any drops prescribed as they burn less. But the last bottles I bought, I had to remove the cap with a pair of pliers, by prying them off by brute force. Can't something be done about the cap?
Slight eye irritation that were not caused by “Compare to” brand Systane on this Equate product. While active ingredients are same as Systane, other ingredients differ.
This has a child resistant lid which is stupid for this tiny miniscule bottle. It's so difficult to open. Even if you can open it, don't bother. This stuff burns my eyes. It's impossible to get only one drop out. I always get 3 or more. Terrible stuff. Nothing like Systane. I don't know if they changed their formula or just the bottle but this is terrible. I'm usually all for generics but skip this one
This product gave my eyes a burning sensation. Not at all soothing!
These are not very good eye drops. They were only effective for about 10 minutes, and my eyes were dry and flooding again. It was definitely not worth saving a little money if the product isn't helpful.
