These are a great neutrogena makeup wipe dupe! They're very affordable! These have a great wet and moist consistency. They do have a scent but it's a refreshing scent and not overpowering. These remove my makeup up very easily without leaving any residue. I use these wipes to take off my makeup before I wash my face to ensure my face gets throughly cleaned. I do not use any makeup wipes for my mascara as it irritates my contacts. These are not a face wash replacement! Overall these are a great makeup wipe that works just as great as name brand!
As someone who loves to do their makeup, I use up a lot of makeup remover wipes. These wipes are comparable to name brand wipes..if not BETTER!! They remove even the most waterproof makeup. They are hypoallergenic and don’t irritate my skin. I highly recommend and the best part, is that they’re super affordable!!!
Equate makeup remover towelettes are great. Each pack comes with 40 towelettes in a pull pack. They're nicely scented and slightly damp to remove long lasting makeup and waterproof mascara. They're gentle on the skin without any irritation. They're easily portable for your bag at the gym or suitcase for travel. I love towelettes for my makeup, and struggle with removing my mascara. These work great at completely removing all the makeup around my eyes without any left over residue. Packaging is great, and eco friendly. I received two totally 80 towelettes, and this will last me a long time before I have to purchase any on the future.
The new packaging as of March 2026 is cheap and awful. There is no hard plastic close top. It’s just a sticky “resealable” part of the package. Except it doesn’t stay closed. Therefore the wipes dry out. We’ve tried using scotch tape (which we shouldn’t have to do in the first place), but even that won’t completely close the flap. And if we turn the package upside down to hold it closed, the wipes slowly drip out of the package and again, dry out in addition to making a mess. Seriously walmart- what were you thinking? We’ve had to resort to placing something heavy on top of the package to keep the wipes fresh and moist so they can do their job. Please please please go back to the hard plastic closure. These aren’t like small packages of baby wipes that one would go through quite quickly. With 40 wipes in a package, that’s basically 40 days worth of wipes. A package that will be opened and closed for 40 days (or more) needs a sturdier opening and closing mechanism. The one that was on the package before was working just fine. If it ain’t broke, why “fix” it?
Honestly, what a letdown. The packaging wasn't the best and I personally hate resealable that just has the sticker seal because the stickers becomes worthless after so many openings. The fragrance was super powerful to me and put me off right away. Using the wipes, my eyeliner didnt come off and I had to scrub to get the little bit off that I did. I had to go back in with my normal makeup removers. Don't waste your time or money. So disappointed.
The new packaging makes this product worthless. They took off the lid that clipped to close the package tightly and replaced it with a sticker that loses its stickiness after about 10 wipes. That leaves me with a lot of wet face wipes that are ready to dry out. The quality of this product decreases by a lot of stars in that instance. I will not buy these again of these until they change the packaging back. These were my go to.
you have new packaging harder to open and grab one real quick. I like the old one with a flip open lid. now just sticky paper cheap
To Whom It May Concern at Walmart/Equate Product Team, I am a long-time loyal customer who has purchased the Equate Beauty Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes (80 count, 2-pack) many times over the years. I am writing because I am very concerned about the recent formula change in the new packaging. After using the new version (the updated blue packaging labeled ‘Compare to Neutrogena’), I immediately noticed my skin looked visibly older, drier, and more irritated — especially around my eyes. After researching the ingredients, I discovered the new formula contains DMDM Hydantoin, a formaldehyde-releasing preservative that is a known skin irritant and allergen according to the FDA and EWG (Environmental Working Group). The original Equate Beauty formula was gentle, effective, and trusted by thousands of loyal customers — many of whom are now reporting the same concerns in online reviews. The new formula is causing real harm to real customers. I am respectfully asking Walmart to: 1. Continue carrying the original Equate Beauty formula 2. Reconsider the reformulation of this product 3. At minimum, clearly communicate to customers that the formula has changed The original product was one of the best values Walmart offered. Please listen to your customers. Thank you for your time.
I’ve been buying these makeup removing wipes for probably close to $15 years. %26 I’ve tried every other makeup removing wipe on the planet which don’t come close to these… until you guys had to go %26 reformulate them. They are TERRIBLE! I may as well be using a dry baby wipe. It doesn’t remove my regular makeup, never mind my waterproof mascara. Why do companies need to go %26 cheapen EVERY single product nowadays? Never purchasing again.
I’ve been using these makeup wipes for years and have always loved them. Recently, I bought the Equate makeup remover wipes and noticed the packaging no longer includes the flip-top lid. Unfortunately, the wipes were damp but had a dry feel to them and didn’t remove my makeup well at all. I’m really disappointed and will have to look for a different brand.
