Okay, here we are another view for these.I've been buying these for like 4 years. We love these The taste is amazing. It's like drinking a delicious vanilla shake. We absolutely love them and a 100% protein and other good stuff. And it gives you that boost of energy in the morning
I'm surprised these are as good as they are in both flavor and the ingredients. I was a protein shake snob for years but I'm over it. These have nearly the same ingredients and calorie, fat and carb content. They're not overly sweet or weird tasting. No blood sugar spikes or stomach issues either.
I love the original version in the white container and box. They taste great. Rich and chocolate. However the version in a half brown, half white container is not nearly as good. It has a cinnamon-like taste that is yuck mixed with chocolate. I hope the original flavor in a white container is brought back permanently.
I have used this brand of protein shakes for a year now, trying to gain weight back after an injury left me 30lbs lighter and sickly skinny. The flavor is perfect, it doesn't have a bad after taste, and with the amount of protein in these shakes, I have almost returned to my previous weight. I definitely recommend that the cost is affordable, unlike those Name Brand protein shakes that cost more for less. These are covered by SNAP benefits.
This is a good product but I ordered a two twelve packs for a total of 24. Seems they were out of twelve packs so they sent one four pack. I love the convenience of home delivery and I'm happy to tip my driver but I ended up having to go out after my delivery came and purchase six more four packs of 30g protein shakes to get us through a couple of weeks.
I need this item weekly and every other time I go it's out do you not use inventory in your ordering process. I pretty much go to a different store now cause you're always out of things and your Customer Service stinks at 50th and L St., Omaha, NE 68117.
THe most recent box of equate max protein chocolate shakes I received has different packaging and the flavor is off. It has a chemical aftertaste. I hope Equate has not changed its formula. This box had a shorter expiration date than the previous 6 boxes i ordered.
equate vanilla protein shakes used to be so good. I don't know what they've done. I can't tolerate them by their self. I was advised to increase my protein so I buy these because they are cheaper than the name brand. I mix them about half and half with Slim Fast protein shakes, which have a much better taste. I add a glug of no calorie salted caramel flavoring syrup.(Not skinny syrup brand! Too expensive). this is the only way I can drink these nasty things.
It's thin it's watery and has no taste. For$2.85 more you can buy a box of Premier protein shake and actually enjoy the taste. I do not recommend this product at all and shame on Walmart for selling it under the Equate brand. This doesn't equate to anything.
I have bought these for quite a while, but something has changed with them. As usually when I received my order, I opened one, got a drink of it, it has a AWFUL taste now, made me sick at my stomach so I poured the rest of them out. Something has changed in the production of these. I will not buy them any more or recommend them to anyone. Should be a rating of zero, disgusting tasting!!
