Equate Maximum Strength Hydrocortisone 1% Anti-Itch Spray, 3 oz

I sometimes get really itchy skin and need relief. This product really works...and fast! I'm able to spray it in any direction on my back, when there's no one else at home to help me. And it stops the itching! I love the cooling effect it has on my skin, too.

The ant itch medicine in the spray form is easy to apply compared to creams and ointments, particularly when the entire back and neck and chest may be itching for whatever reason. I mix a tiny amount of this equate spray with body cream and it works every time.

this is a multi-purpose spray for whatever itches you. my name is Labrador had a red rash on his stomach a footlong so I bought this and sprayed it on him twice a day and within 3 days you could see the rash almost gone. of course, keep using it until it's completely gone.

I've been to my primary care doc and a specialist in search of relief for this mysterious rash on my shin and they both prescribed different creams with different strengths and neither one helped in the long run.. or in the short run for that matter. However, I had a pharmacist recommended this and I swear by it!! The relief was almost instantaneously and it's way easier to apply than cream. Just spray on and go about your business. I got a bad rash on my back when working out in the winter and was truly worried about it. The rash was extremely bad. While searching around for an ointment I came across this spray. Amazing. Used it for 3 days and the rash was completely gone. It is the Cortisone inn the spray that sets it apart from the othelrs. Thank you for the great product at a low price.

I LOVE this stuff. i ALWAYS have a can handy. Matter of fact, i have 2 CANS! Easy spray on. Even use it on my Dog. Works fast, dries fast. Beats the heck out of slathering the cream version on!

Easy to use spray for itching. I like it's a spray so I don't have to get my hands full of cream. It sprays evenly and it's a full cover mist with good pressure. It works very quickly and is unscented . I use it whenever I get a random itch .

I have used the brand-name spray as well as the Equate Max Strength Cortisone Anti-Itch Spray and see no difference, other than the Equate brand price difference. I experience outbreaks on my skin and the spray makes it easy for harder-to-reach places. Using spray is more convenient than Cortisone lotions and creams; it's quicker to apply, there is no residue and none gets on clothing and the spray is convenient to bring along in case you need an itch "touch up"

I don't know how this has such a high rating. The spray function doesn't work correctly- sometimes it shoots out in a straight stream and other times it's a fine mist. I don't think it relieved the itch I had as effectively as normal cream typically does. The most annoying part to me though is how sticky it makes my skin feel. I sprayed it on my legs and they felt so sticky I had to rinse them off in the tub.

I have used the trade name Hydrocortisone 1% spray before. That sprayed on easily and dried within a minute or two. This spray, even though same amount, lasted half as long and, doesn't dry, and leaves a sticky substance on the skin. I bought two tubes and will use it with a skin cream to soften the impact of the substance. I moved to using this spray INSTEAD OF skin cream. I won't ever buy Equate spray again.
