Had a bump on my upper arm, when I went to the doctor for my check up she told me it was a wort and referred me to a dermatologist. She recommended an over the counter wort remover first while I waited for an appointment. I bought the equate brand strips and after two strips and four days the wort which was pea size was almost gone. It was a little itchy on the wort area but the strip stayed on well and remained water tight even through the shower. The name brand does NOT have more medicine, the active ingredient is exactly the same for about three dollars less. I highly recommend this product.
These work incredibly well for the bottom of the feet. Make sure your feet are soft right after the shower, put one on and leave it for two days. I then take it off, wait 2 days, and repeat the process. After that, the wart and the skin around it will dry, lift around the edges, which you can clip, and eventually be gone all together. It is a process, and you might not like walking with a band aid on the bottom of your foot, but it works, and beats paying to have them frozen or burned off.
This worked on my daughter in about 3 or 4 treatments (band aid strips)! But we followed the directions and kept it going until we were comfortable it was gone. She did say it stung a little but nothing she couldnt handle.
Got rid of warts that the dermatologist didn't. And this doesn't hurt. Just keep using them and it will work.
The instructions aren't specific, but I'd recommend (I am not a doctor) wearing one for a few days, give your skin a chance to heal, then put it back on. They seem to be working, but just know you should change them everyday, and try to keep everything dry.
My soon to be 2 year old son got a planter wart on the bottom of both feet. His doctor told us to get the acid and file the wart down every night after his bath. I went to walmart and spent about 30 minutes reading all the different wart remover items. I settled on this and the acid as back up. I never had to use the acid. After his bath every night, we put the band aids on him. You could tell after a couple of days that it was eating the warts away. It took longer for one foot than the other. Our son is now wart free after less that 7 days. I love this stuff. No mess and does the job!
This worked after 2 applications. Liked very mich
This is true to its name of one step. I wore one for just 2 days and I promise the most stubborn wart died on my pinky. I did hurt a little over the 2 days but nothing that was too unbearable. Couldn't recommend these enough.
Doesn't stick for very long. If it gets wet it soaks through. If I try to leave it on longer, it ends up leaving all my skin under the whole bandaid cracked and hurting since it's been covered by a soggy bandaid. Even changing it more often, the wart didn't go all the way away.
I really wanted to give these a shot based on mostly positive reviews and the fact that the price is 2/3rds of the name brand. However, they fell short on two counts that both matter. Firstly, the bandage adhesive is far too weak. Though trying to keep the bandage dry as much as possible, after just a few hours of use it was falling off. The directions indicate leaving the bandage on for about 24 hours, I don't see how this would be possible with how weak the adhesive is. I tried to get the most out of the medicine by placing regular cloth-style bandage on top of this, but that defeats the all-in-one solution. Secondly, the medicine does not seem to be effective. I've used wart remover of the same strength in liquid form that worked, but after going through half a box of these there was no change in the appearance of the wart. I might have had better results if the bandage would stay on better, I will admit that. I don't know if I received a bad batch or if this is a common problem for others - but I would think cloth-type bandages would be a better design choice than the cheap plastic that is used for these.
