Equate Maximum Strength Urinary Pain Relief Phenazopyridine Tablets, 99.5 mg, 24 Count

I get chronic kidney infections, and because of that suffer from kidney spasms... so I pretty much have to keep this in stock at my home. the equate brand of Azo pain relief is just as good if not better than the name brand, but with the price tag that's so much better! my only complaint is Walmart, doesn't keep it on the shelf well enough.

The product was just fine, but the delivery wasn't. The shipping wasn't. It was shipped in a Walmart brown envelope that didn't have bubbles so therefore the box was mashed flat. Thank goodness the medicine was in individual doses so therefore pills were not crushed. Otherwise I would not have been able to use the product that I really needed.

I've used this medication for many years, while it was still by prescription only and now that it's OTC. When you need it, there's nothing better for pain relief for the bladder! It's quite targeted, instead of regular analgesics that spread throughout the body.

This is the same stuff the doctors used to prescribe for UTI pain and it works. Take 2 tabs, once you start urinating, which should be right away if you have a UTI, it starts taking the pain away. It doesn't cure your UTI but it makes you comfortable until you can see a doctor.

I'm perimenopausal, and with that comes the higher likelihood of urinary tract issues. These work just as well as the name brand. I've found that my son gets the start of a uti when we travel, too, as he stays dehydrated, so these work perfectly for him, too. I carry them with me at all times.

I had no idea this medication was even a thing but was pleasantly surprised at how fast and well it worked when I suddenly woke up with extreme urinary tract/bladder pain. Got relief very fast and was able to go about my day without the feeling of running to the bathroom every 3 seconds. Excellent product. Now to deal with my gut flora and overall wellness so I don't get any more UTI's!

If you have a UTI I am not advocating this for everyone, but as a quick fix this medication really works. I have used it numerous times and as an older woman it truly helps. I start with (1) pill and it does discolor your urine to a bright orange but not to be alarmed. I can almost state that any Equate product is excellent. If your problem continues after a couple of days, please see a medical professional. It is also gentle on the stomach but with food is better and drink a big glass of water. Highly recommend this! This item is very good and its just as good as the name brand product I used it the same day I received it and my pain instantly went away and all my symptoms. I will be buying this item again and I do recommend this product to anyone who suffers from uti discomfort.

I would recommend, but the only issue I had is I vomited after taking 2 of these pills as instructed on the packaging. The next day I only took 1 and no vomiting. The one pill worked effectively without vomiting. I believe these pills maybe too strong for some like myself. The pills worked and did what it needed to do once I took one for 2 days. Then within a week I was back to normal and everything was all cleared up.

Found out I had a kidney stone. A%26E(ER) doctor prescribed these for help until they could take it out. Was supposed to help with urination and burning and some other things. Well, they don't tell you that your urine will discolour and make you think there's blood in your urine. It's just some sort of dye in the pills that make it turn orange. Scary. But yeah, all in all, these pills did not help me at all. Made me feel worse. I stopped taking them. Hopefully they work better for you than they did me. Talk to your doctor though.
