Recommended to me by my primary care physician's assistant. This Equate product works great in eliminating my flaky scalp. I pass on the recommendation to others with dandruff. Also, contrary to a dubious review I noticed here, I've been using this for over a year now and it has never dyed my fingernails, hair or scalp green.

My husband has both eczema and a dry scalp. That combination is horrible. We'd tried several dandruff shampoos and it became quite expensive. My mother in law recommended this shampoo. Oh my gosh, why didn't we try it sooner? Now, to be totally honest, it's not the best smelling and has a somewhat medicinal scent, but it's sooooo worth it. After a few days he felt the difference. No more itch on his scalp and it wasn't dry and flaky. It works wonders. Definitely a must try if you have dry scalp or dandruff

This is a great treatment for itchy scalp. I have used the equate version as well as the brand name and this is just as good. This does not dye my hair or nails green. ***HOWEVER*** Warning - This (and all shampoos containing selenium sulfide) tarnishes silver and basically ruins the finish on white gold, so remove your jewelry prior to using this shampoo or you will have to zoom your wedding band to the jeweler for refinishing like I did.

Good for killing fungal infections of the skin and for dandruff. HOWEVER there is a sulfur like smell to it so I would limit it to once/twice a week. It's great because it's medicated and cooling, so it provides relief. Would recommend!

This dandruff shampoo is amazing. I have tried every brand I could find to try and get rid of my dry and itchy scalp. This one by far works the best. Love shoping Equate brand just cant beat the price and quality

Definitely relieves the itch, and leaves hair feeling clean and fresh. Very economical, which is the great feature of EQUATE products. I recommend watching out for spills, because it is a deep blue color. No permanent staining problem, but it's a good idea to keep a cleanup cloth handy.
