After Hurricane Ida, we did not have water for five days. My sister introduced me to this micellar water. We were able to clean our faces daily. I now always have a bottle handy for my hurricane kit! On a daily basis, I use it as part of my double cleanse to remove moisturizer and sunscreen. I do not wear makeup.
I love this stuff. I usually use makeup remover wipes but they don't remove my waterproof mascara very well so i decided to use this product. I was really amazed at how easily it removed my makeup and mascara. It has no scent and I really like that. It's just like washing your face with water. I used it with the washable makeup pads. They are so soft! Together it's like having a spa day for your face.
Micellar water is beyond effective as a facial cleanser. There's nothing in it to harm or irritate %26 yet it's an unbelievable deep clean. You don't realize your skin is that dirty until you cleanse it with micellar water. Then you feel really clean, which is refreshing in itself. Micellar water is micellar water. So just save money %26 buy the Walmart brand, Equate!
This micellar water gets the job done! This little bottle lasts me forever! I'd say it's really good for my skin, I've got a combination dry and oily skin. This has never broke me out or made my skin look or feel irritated. I'd recommend this over the name brand!
Due to eye surgery, I needed something that was going to take my make up off and be gentle and this really works. Just don't forget to shake the bottle before using.
I usually buy the name brand of this product and decided to try the Equate version. I don't like makeup removers with oil in them and this says “no oil” on the bottle. It definitely feels like and looks like there is some kind of oil in it. That said, it seems to work well (make sure you shake it up) and if you don't mind the oil it is worth the cost savings over the name brand.
I tried this out to try and save money. I typically use garnier. This is not a good swap. Even though it says oil free, it left my face feeling oily and a sheen over my eyes. I had to scrub much harder and longer to get makeup off which left my skin irritated. Will be returning.
Purchased this one time to try to save money. It states there is no oil in this product, but left my skin feeling like there was baby oil all over my face. Threw it away after 2 uses. Tilted the bottle and could clearly see oil floating in the liquid. Wasted money. Won't buy again.
1. Item was not sealed.2. A Walmart rep came to pick it up from my home but was unable to scan barcode and left with the item.3. A second Walmart rep came to my home to do the same and I told her what happened. 3 I get a notification that my return was canceled. OMG What a nightmare. Why is it that a personal care item is not sealed. I WOULD GLADLY PAY EXTRA FOR PEACE OF MIND. WHAT IF A CRAZY PERSON TAMPERED WITH IT TO HARM CUSTOMERS ? Why am I inconvenienced at all? It makes me rethink my membership . :(
Awful product and nothing like the Garnier micellar water. This says ‘oil free' but has a literal layer of oil floating in it before it's shaken. It feels like slathering mineral oil on my face. Good for removing makeup but absolutely terrible for cleansing. Also it's called cleansing water but the directions say ‘apply to clean skin'. Make it make sense.
