Works great!

susan August 7, 2025

I love this stuff. I usually use makeup remover wipes but they don't remove my waterproof mascara very well so i decided to use this product. I was really amazed at how easily it removed my makeup and mascara. It has no scent and I really like that. It's just like washing your face with water. I used it with the washable makeup pads. They are so soft! Together it's like having a spa day for your face.

Micellar water is beyond effective as a facial cleanser. There's nothing in it to harm or irritate %26 yet it's an unbelievable deep clean. You don't realize your skin is that dirty until you cleanse it with micellar water. Then you feel really clean, which is refreshing in itself. Micellar water is micellar water. So just save money %26 buy the Walmart brand, Equate!

Get this over the name brand!

Jadyn December 6, 2025

This micellar water gets the job done! This little bottle lasts me forever! I'd say it's really good for my skin, I've got a combination dry and oily skin. This has never broke me out or made my skin look or feel irritated. I'd recommend this over the name brand!

Feels like there is oil in it

Scrowe April 5, 2026

I usually buy the name brand of this product and decided to try the Equate version. I don't like makeup removers with oil in them and this says “no oil” on the bottle. It definitely feels like and looks like there is some kind of oil in it. That said, it seems to work well (make sure you shake it up) and if you don't mind the oil it is worth the cost savings over the name brand.

Not recommended. Oily !!!

Gale April 26, 2026

Purchased this one time to try to save money. It states there is no oil in this product, but left my skin feeling like there was baby oil all over my face. Threw it away after 2 uses. Tilted the bottle and could clearly see oil floating in the liquid. Wasted money. Won't buy again.

leaked broken cap. works well though.

Rose July 4, 2026

ok so i got this micellar cleansing water for removing makeup. nice price. and it works well just. removes makeup easily and keeps the skin smooth. not irritating. not causing red lines (like cleanser does sometimes.) its a great makeup remover thats cheap. so if you use a lot of makeup remover i would recommend getting micellar water. i also use it to clean my makeup brushes or if my vanity counter gets dirty from makeup i just shpritz a little and it wipes off really easy. the only issue with this is the bottle cap is not secure and can leak. it had already leaked in the bag that i got the walmart delivery from. (see image) and even now when i shake it before use, it can leak so i can say its less quality than the original/mainstream brands. it still does the job. but gotta say its annoying having to watch out for leaking while shaking or moving the bottle... a pity on a great product. i would advise equate brand to fix that cap and then you have a perfection product! other than that it does the job mainstream makeup removers do. so thats my input here. thumbs up if helpful

Not a good swap for name brand

danielle June 13, 2025

I tried this out to try and save money. I typically use garnier. This is not a good swap. Even though it says oil free, it left my face feeling oily and a sheen over my eyes. I had to scrub much harder and longer to get makeup off which left my skin irritated. Will be returning.

Terrible, full of oil

caroline April 26, 2026

Awful product and nothing like the Garnier micellar water. This says ‘oil free' but has a literal layer of oil floating in it before it's shaken. It feels like slathering mineral oil on my face. Good for removing makeup but absolutely terrible for cleansing. Also it's called cleansing water but the directions say ‘apply to clean skin'. Make it make sense.

Suddenly oily!

Anonymous July 3, 2026

The first bottle many months ago I bought of this was great. Then yesterday I opened one I bought in April and it was like putting straight baby oil on my face. This 2nd bottle irritated my skin. Luckily I have some of the Garnier one still I was saving left. I'm going back to that. Disappointed, what a waste of money. Too late for me to return it. Do better Walmart.

1. Item was not sealed.2. A Walmart rep came to pick it up from my home but was unable to scan barcode and left with the item.3. A second Walmart rep came to my home to do the same and I told her what happened. 3 I get a notification that my return was canceled. OMG What a nightmare. Why is it that a personal care item is not sealed. I WOULD GLADLY PAY EXTRA FOR PEACE OF MIND. WHAT IF A CRAZY PERSON TAMPERED WITH IT TO HARM CUSTOMERS ? Why am I inconvenienced at all? It makes me rethink my membership . :(
