Equate Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer, 60 fl oz

In reading other reviews, I questioned ordering the hand saitizer. There were complaints about the bottle leading, lid coming off, etc. I received mine today and it was in a box with 2 - 20 kitty litter jugs. I must say that Walmart did a great job packing the box. The bottle was perfect. I read other complaints about the smell. It doesn't reek. It is hand sanitizer, not hand lotion. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

This is the second bottle I have purchased in the last six months. The first I purchased in Nov 2019 and it is nearing empty. I was more than happy with it. Worked great, smelled fine, priced right, etc. This bottle is a different animal. Price was still good and I was thrilled to find it. The only problem is the stench. It literally smells like a cheap bar of hotel soap. If it weren't so hard to find hand sanitizer, I would send it back. I washed my hands three times to remove the smell and I still get whiffs of it. It is nauseating. I will keep it and hope it is just the smell and hope it actually works. I can smell the alcohol a little, so I assume it will still sanitize. I hope it is just a fragrance they used that makes it stink. I "will not" use it in my truck or car because I cannot wash my hands afterwards. I will continue to use the remainder of my first bottle. This will be an emergency/home/camping use refill. Or anywhere I can wash my hands after use. As I said, the first smelled fine/normal, so hopefully this is a one off problem. I would probably buy again, but I will definitely try to purchase elsewhere first. If it weren't so hard to find, I would definitely return.

Thanks to get this. However, the cap wasn't sealed well and the content spilled all over the box and ruined other items in the same box. Unlike the smaller containers of Equate hand sanitizers, this one has awful smell that stays on the surface almost forever. They need to take the "fragrance" out of this product.

Purchased two bottles in June 2020. Both were not the product I have used in the past. Has the equate label, but not sealed. Very thin, horrid smelling product. Yes I am sure its some kind of homemade sanitizer recipe, but it is not as described. I will not be able to use it, it is so horrible. I should have been suspicious with it being so readily available.

I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing. I would not dare use this nasty smelling product on my hands or the hands of my family. I was super excited that I was able to FINALLY find and buy some. While I didn't have any spillage, as many have commented; it may as well have spilled for the good it will do. I can't even describe the funky smell. I definitely will see about getting my money back. I feel like I got the old bait and switch. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE....Friend or Foe!!!!

was so excited to get this sanitizer for my family, first bottle I've seen in months! It was delayed which I could live with as long as it comes but when it did arrive it appears tampered with. Like others have stated there's no seal just some tape to "prevent leaking" on top of the cap. Well it was missing some product and it smells just awful! I honestly don't know if this is really 60% alcohol based or reliable in protecting my family. Very upset as we have no other options.

This arrived at my door yesterday and I barely heard the delivery man when he put it in the corner of my front porch and then rang the doorbell. I waited about 30 minutes so the mail could arrive and I could make 1 trip outside to get both. I picked up the box as I came back, brought it in and dropped it on the floor by my recliner. I went through the mail and answered a phone call....and I am guessing 1 1/2 hours passed before I reached over the arm of my chair to get the box and open it. When I looked at the box there was 2 puddles oozing out of the box on the carpet on both ends! I picked it up and ran to the kitchen to put it in the sink, cupping my hands on both corners to keep from leaving a trail. When I bent over to put that box on the floor there was less than a foot of space between the floor and box. I guess it landed on the side that wasn't protect by air bags and the small amount of drop had caused the flip-top to pop off and I was unaware of it. As I examined it after opening the box in the sink it was plain why this had occurred. The bottle has about 3/4 of an inch where the top screws on and it was not secured for shipping. A little over half a turn and the cap will come off. There was no tape across the top and it wasn't zipped up in a plastic bag as have been most of the other liquid items I have ordered. The pictures I have taken tell the story. There was about 15 to 20 ozs. still in the bottle and I'll use what is left. The whole bottle was really needed but all I have is a smaller amount and the rest made a horrible MESS!!!

Read the reviews about this hand sanitizer stinking but didn't really believe it could be THAT bad....people, listen to myself and other reviewers when we say, IT STINKS!!! I tried desperately to add some essential oils to the mix just trying to make it tolerable but to no avail. If this was the absolute last thing on earth and I had no soap/water to wash my hands I would probably use it reluctantly. Phew-wee it's AWFUL!

TOTALLY DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS AND FORMULA THAN THE ONE WE USED AND LOVED BEFORE COVID. I have both old and new bottles, and they are totally different products inside. If you're going to completely change the product, walmart, then change the name or inform us on label as "NEW, LESSER FORMULA THAT IS STICKY AND SMELLS AWFUL". I bought a 60 ounce refill and we don't even want to use it. The first picture, with glycerine as the second ingredient, is the old formula, the second picture is the after covid formula.

The bottle had leaked in the box and the box was wet. The odor was horrible,this is not the original sanitizer this product is a refill because I have purchased this item before it had a blue top. this bottle has a green top. I really don't feel it is killing germ as it claims. I am returning my purchase.
