Equate Mouthwash, Fresh Mint, 1.5 L

I really hope Walmart does not discontinue this mouthwash! It is the same formula as the original Scope, lasts longer and leaves your breath fresher than the newer Scope Outlast, and it is SMOOTH, not that horrible taste and burn of the antiseptic mouthwash in the square bottles!! It is the BEST!

Not long ago I bought house-brand mouthwash from Amazon, thinking it a better deal than Walmart's. Much to my chagrin, the bottle was about 2/3 the size. So much for that. But, here's the rub: I can never find this product on the shelves. There's tons of expensive Listerine and Scope put out, and that's all. The way around it was to order 10 bottles on Walmart's Web site, and then go pick it up, curbside.

Equate Fresh Mint Mouthwash is a great value and works just as well as the more expensive brands. It leaves my mouth feeling clean, fresh, and refreshed after every use, and the mint flavor is strong enough to keep my breath fresh without being overpowering. I use it every morning and night as part of my daily routine, and it gives me that just-left-the-dentist clean feeling. The large 1.5-liter bottle lasts a long time, making it an excellent value for the price. It's an affordable, dependable product that my whole family uses, and I'll definitely keep buying it.

Less expensive than name brand but the same clean, fresh taste. Long lasting clean in your mouth that you can feel. Great finish for after brushing your teeth. Economical.

For me this is a great mouthwash. It tastes good and my mouth feels clean and refreshed after use. It's not sweet and there's very little burn. The price is good considering the size of the bottle.

This is the lowest priced product in quality, taste and effect that mimics the name brand Scope. Have bought this for many, many years and am happy with the results as it leaves no heavy aftertaste.

Price is lower than most. It contains saccharine, which is a health concern, but I suppose as long as you spit it out the exposure is rather low. I really wish they offered a clear version without the artificial dyes. The child-resistant top is easy enough to open, once you cut away the plastic seal.

This Equate Mouthwash is not an antiseptic, it's only a breath freshener containing: Water, Alcohol, Glycerin Flavor, Blue and Yellow coloring %26 preservatives, that's it!!!  Walmart was out of their GV antiseptic and this was substituted on my delivery order. It states on the bottle compared to Scope Classic. I prefer an antiseptic mouthwash that actually kills odor causing bacteria and germs. This does not!

Formula change...AWFUL! They screwed themselves with this change. Tastes just like gargling straight vodka. I've bought this for a long time. Came to the reviews to see if I just had a bad bottle or was there a change. Pouring down the drain and buying another brand. Why in the world would the produce this mess from the perfectly good formula that once was? Crazy!

I concur with all the other recent reviews. Not sure what happened with the formula but this mouthwash does not taste good at all anymore. Pouring out and going with a different brand. I really wish companies would leave well enough alone. If it's not broke. Don't try to change/fix it.
