Equate Calamine Spray is as good as the original lotion. As anyone knows, it is very hard to apply Calamine Lotion. The liquid is so thin but the Equate Spray is so much easier to apply to the effected area.
I had a severe poison ivy rash. It was irritated and very itchy. The Calamine spray was very effective and soothing (it had a cooling sensation) . It calmed the itch and dried up the rash. So easy to apply with the spray. I think it has a pleasant smell. I liked it so much that I bought several bottles to have on hand. I highly recommend this product.
I was hesitant about ordering this but really wanted a spray. I will continue to buy this product from now on-it really works!!!!
I love the fact that I can spray it and not have to rub it on and get it all over my hands
Relieves itching feeling immediately!
we use this for our disabled family members we use this for the children we even use it on the dog when the heat gets too much for him and it seems his skin yes Calamine does the same but this spray dries quick doesn't stick doesn't drip and my kids say has a cooling effect on the itches
Believe it or not, this spray calamine is cleaner than the liquid calamine lotion. The regular stuff contains ingredients that irritate my skin (IKR?), but this one is pretty plain. It has the added benefit of ease of application and mess-free storage. I have MCAS so my skin gets inflamed pretty frequently, so I spray on this calamine, let it dry a few minutes, and then apply shea butter or tallow balm. It works well to soothe my skin.
I looked all over for spray on calamine lotion that wasn't overly expensive. I was thrilled to find this at such a good price. It works really well, but we go outside to spray it on and hold our breaths. It smells, a lot, while it's being sprayed on but the odor goes away once it dries.
It worked to relieve itching and reduce pain. It did burn a little when first applied but stopped as it dried. This was a bit messy as it made everything turn pink, including my clothes. It did wash out but was a bit hard to apply without making a mess.
The itching was crazy but this helped relive me throughout my pregnancy! It's cool to the skin and relieves itch right away! I just don't like that once it runs out it sounds like there is more in the can but nothing comes out….forcing me to buy more. I went through about 5 cans in 8.5 months.
