I will never again use pure Acetone again! I was a devoted fan of Onyx , but when this came on sale for $1, I figured, “why not?” and so I ordered it. Equate's nourishing polish remover is top notch. It does not leave my finger tips and toes dehydrated like Onyx. I usually wear soft gels on my finger tips (i'm very hard on my hands and do daily chores, including dishes and my dog's dishes separately). This means I have to steam off my nail gels! I tried this and upon removing my finger tips, they were not dried out and like raisins!!! In fact, they were wll nourished! Ladies, some folks avoid gels due to the removal. This easily answers the removal process of it being dried out and the smell isn't so overpowering. I can't dock a star because it does take a few attempts for steamed acetone to remove my gels since I”ve a system for keeping them last for at least 1 month straight. 1. Russian Prep 2. Brazilian paint method 3. Double top coats.
I decided to try this nail polish remover because I was tired of spending so much money on it. I change my nail polish once a week, so I use a lot. The great value polish remover works great! It makes it easy to get my polish off, even dark colors like red. And it doesn't dry my nails out or leave them feeling brittle. I highly recommend this polish remover!
Works well for my needs, mostly soaking off home applied self adhesive silk wraps to split nails while they're growing out. I tape cotton ball soaked with remover to each fingernail. ~5min later, remove cotton ball… silk wrap, clear coat or color slide right off just as well as pricier brand name.
Great product and works exactly like it's supposed to. You can't beat the price or value for the. Works just as well as "name brand" nail polish removers. Safe yourself some money and buy this product instead. Highly recommend.
Great product for a great low price! Takes off your polish easy and quickly. Of course this item does have a smell but it's not strong as other removers I have tried. Will purchase again.
I ran out of nail polish removal and I'm trying to get ready to go to the hospital and this was the best thing to get. It was easy to remove and I love it great bye.
Typically, I like this brand. perhaps it was the type I chose, but I will not buy this particular one again. Normally, you are receiving quality and good value. Not with this one. I was not able to remove the various bits of polish where it got on my fingers or cuticles regardless of the amount I used.
I don't understand the good reviews on this particular item. I normally buy the GV 100% acetone remover which works well however this was about as useful as using water because it DID NOT remove the polish. I finally gave up and luckily found some regular remover or I would never have got the polish off with this. Probably the poorest performing product I can ever remember purchasing. It was under $2 but still a waste.
Generally, I don't review stuff unless I really like something or really dislike something. This falls under the dislike list. It is absolutely useless. I used the last of another plain remover and it easily removed my polish. I used this and I was scraping it off in the end. I tried rubbing, soaking, grinding the polish, everything. It is terrible. I had to go to the store to just buy some more generic plain remover. Nothing with “moisturizers” like vitamin E and Panthenol. I think that's the difference
LOL!!! It says nourishing, well it is very gentle on nails for sure! It would not remove my regular nail polish at all for goodness sakes! It was so frustrating like I was using plain water lol. Guess I'll go back to regular acetone remover and just moisturize well after nails are dry and in between polishes. A complete waste of time. energy and money,
