Equate Nutritional Shake Plus, Chocolate, 8 fl oz, 24 Count

so, in April I had my teeth removed, there was a mistake during my surgery and I ended up losing a lot of blood afterward, so much so that I became anemic. I couldn't eat, I threw up all the time, I was weak, I couldn't get up, but I used these protein shakes to get me through that whole ordeal and if it hadn't been for them I don't know what I would have done. they really helped me. and they taste really good too. as far as protein shakes go the price isn't that bad.

The flavor was strangely different this time around. Usually it's very strong. The “plus “ in the name denotes extra calories and a thick creamy texture. Compare to boost, it's almost exactly the same. Never chalky. I haven't tried vanilla in a while but I might have to. Just to see if the flavor has improved.

When I struggle to maintain vitamins and weight, these have been the best quality, pricing, but overall the best taste and performance. No grit, no protein taste. The extra calories in the plus , as well as protein and vitamins are what helps maintain.

Just as good as name brand “Boost “ ! Unfortunately the strawberry flavor was out of stock and the computer suggested a substitute that I didn't approve! So, I got charged more for something that I didn't want!! I think I am going to try to find a way to go to the store personally for my shopping from now on! I'm getting tired of the computer ignoring my preapproved list of substitutions for something that is more expensive and isn't even close to what I ordered!!

I but this every time I run out. It really did help me gain weight. I have a hard time gaining and I eat a lot!!!!!! I eat for 3 people at one sitting Ave still can't gain but after I eat I drink this to help gain. Showed results after 2 weeks. Gotta be consistent. I drink one in morning and at night. I was 95lbs now I'm at 135lb . I've tried all other products but this is the one that worked for me. I love the strawberry flavor . Chocolate not bad but I favor strawberry more.

I'm recovering from cancer. I'm on an all-liquid diet. I can't eat solid food. I've tried all the other various brands of nutrition drinks. Of all the different brands this one seems to have the best flavor. It doesn't have the chemical taste you get with some of the other brands. I mix this with ice cream and milk and run it through the blender three times a day.

I used to get Equate Chocolate Royal which has fewer calories which I really appreciated. I was extremely disappointed when it was no longer available. I don't like the Milk Chocolate at all. French Vanilla became the next best option. I tried every other brand and nothing was as good as Equate. The other day I found this product which looks like a dark chocolate. It tastes excellent. I was so happy to find a great taste. However, then I noticed the calories. That's definitely not what I need but I'm struggling to find food I can eat. Liquid and soft. Low sodium, fat, protein. High carb! No salad!!! I told my doctor it sounded like I'm supposed to eat dessert. Pretty much but I have to get other nutrients. New parents, taste the baby food before you give it to your baby. I haven't found one I like. Some were downright awful. No wonder your baby/toddler cries!!) This is my delicious option. I would toss my husband a meal replacement when he'd go all day without eating. I used to drink it mid afternoon when I was teaching. A great energy boost. This will be a main staple for me. I'm glad I found it.

These Nutrition Drinks have kept me alive for 8 years, after Cancer treatments burned and left me unable to swallow food. This product is as good as the name brand that costs alot less. and the Taste is great. Wish the bottle top was easier to open,but every product, ever brand,is hard for the elderly to twist open. .

I purchase these shakes for my 86 y/o mother, she loves them. When she doesn't eat, she will drink a shake. These shakes fulfills a nutritional intake for her. I have recently introduced the vanilla and strawberry flavors to her, she loves those flavors as well. Her only complaint is the shake's thickness but I thin it a bit with milk and she's happy again. The price is very economical. I will continue to purchase this product, this brand.

My mom loves these shakes. Rich and delicious flavor. I like the vitamin and high calories this offers on days when she's not hungry for real food. Great price, skip the Ensure. The only downside is that it's never stocked in my Wal Mart so that frustrating because I shop here weekly. I always have to buy online or switch brands!
