I get this Equate Famotidine 10 mg . It works for me better than the 20 mg. If its a odd day and I need a little more I can take another in an hour or so.

I appreciate the tiny pill size since that makes it much easier to swallow. Works really well, I only take it as needed but it absolutely has conquired my heart burn issues on the occassion that I can't stick to a gerd friendly diet.

I give this to my Frenchie everyday as part of his MCT treatment. The 90 count is very convenient and decreases plastic waste. the bottle is still rather large for the size of the pills.

I have 2 dogs that I use this for tummy issues / acid. We were getting a 20 mg and cutting in half but I like these 10 mg, stick down in peanut butter or yogurt and they swallow it right up.

We get these for the dog, who had a cancerous mast cell tumor. The vet advised that diphenhydramine HCl (brand name Benadryl) is recommended to reduce recurrence--and for dogs taking that medication, famotidine is recommended to help with side effects. I wish this was available in a larger count as one package lasts the dog only one month, but it still is the best value I have found for this medication.

One half of the minimun dose tablet works very well for my small dog, on the rare occasion that his tummy has way too much acid. (In 5 years I've only needed to give it to him a few times, and he has done very well.) They work just as well as the name brand.

They help a lot for stomach acid issues. It might not clear up acid 100%, but I would say at least 80%. I couldn't get through the day without them. If you use them long-term the effectiveness might lessen, but they're still helpful. Always check with your doctor first, especially for long-term use.
