I just had hip replacement surgery in my leg is swelling so I need to ice it 20 minutes out of every hour that I'm awake and I have found that Walmart's brand of reusable ice packs is saving me a fortune. they work perfect and they get really really cold. I'm very happy with this product and it was very inexpensive. thank you Walmart

I would definitely recommend these. I just wish that they had some sort of Thai strap or Velcro or something so that it would stay in place whether you used it around your upper torso, your shoulder, your back your thigh your knee I don't care why you use these but they need to have some sort of state in place Something or others. Thank you.

They take a long time to freeze so I have 4 of them. They are fantastic for headaches. I have a dog who gets too hot in the summer, so I fold a towel over and set on the cold pack for him. He loves to lay on it. Normally he moves all over the bed at night. He heats up a spot then he moves to a new one. If I have this frozen compress with a double layer towel over it, he will just lay in that one spot all night long.

Well-made cold compress that conforms to the extremity. The pack stays cold for a long period of time during use. The size is large enough to stay in place when icing my knee. The pack's outer covering is soft though I do use a very thin tea towel between the compress and skin. I highly recommend this item. I purchased the 3 pack for easier rotation of compresses in and out of the freezer. I have not tried this item as a warm compress.

I used this after a biopsy and it helped to keep the swelling, bruising and pain to a minimum. It was larger than I received from my doctor and molded well to my body. I will be buying more.

While it's cold, it feels really good, but it doesn't stay cold for very long - less than an hour. The surface of the hot/cold pack reminds me of a glass micro fiber towel. I'm glad I got 3 of them, because, like I said, they don't stay cold for long. One thing that's really nice about them is that they don't sweat when they warm back up to room temp after freezing - no extra towel needed.

From the pictures/ description, I thought it was a blue, fabric like ice pack. Instead it was a plastic ice pack with a blue fabric cover that was very difficult to put on. Plus the pack was not flexible when frozen. Ended up using 2 smaller ones instead and forgetting to return.

I received 2 orders of same via call center screw ups %26 ordering. I had to delete %26 return items. Online bad to use as screws up orders. Customer has to spend hour time returning big boxed package….of 3 duplicate items in system error that could also be in less than half the size box.,

I bought this thinking it would be the same as the gel pads that Walgreens has because it is only 2/3 of the cost. Boy, was I wrong! This gel pad doesn't have enough gel inside of it, it does not freeze well enough, and so the gel pad does not stay cold very long. My advice is just to spend the extra money and get a gel pad from Walgreens.
