Equate Shave Cream with Aloe, Raspberry, 8 oz

This is the only shave cream on the market (when I can find it) that I use…love price and ease of shaving. Shaving gel is useless causes razor burn and destroys razors!!! Even hard to find mens shaving cream which I would use if all I can find but it is expensive ☹️

Foams well and smells ok (not my favorite smell, but not bad either). Not incredibly moisturizing, but good value. I usually use a gel shave cream, but the last one I purchased from this brand had issues with dispensing properly. I tried this instead and it dispensed perfectly.

When I pick my groceries up, I do not get out of my car. When I got home and put them all away yesterday, 02/05/24, I realized I had been shorted a can of shave cream. I ordered, and was charged for the shave cream in this picture, but did not receive it!

I used to use the name brand of this product (Pure Silk), but Walmart stopped carrying it and only has this now. For quite a while, I thought that this was comparable. However, in the past year, it seems like the product was reformulated, and it is no longer as thick and creamy as it used to be which makes me have to use more of it and thus, doesnt save money. Also, the bottom of the cans started to rust when preciously they had not. Very disappointing.

I have always bought this brand and idk what happened that last time I bought one when I was showering the shaving cream wouldn't come out from the can it was like stuck I was so disappointed that I had to throw away the can it wasn't even used halfway

Didn't like new dispenser design. It dispenses a little trickle of gel and is especially hard to press when your hands are wet and takes more pressure than before. My husband's Equate shave gel still works fine but the dispenser is designed differently and works. I returned it for a refund.

It is loud and not smooth when it comes out. for a little while theyvseemed to have designed a new one but now im recieving to loud one again. im thinking of switching brands.

Was hoping this would work better than the name brand i was using. But it's not good at all. Have to use twice as much if not more. The texture/quality made it difficult to shave and almost made my razor feel dull and left my legs rough. Smell was a little aged for my liking but doesn't last long.

This just isnt a good product. The foam isnt thick or creamy enough to actually moisturize the skin, which causes razor burn. The foam also dissolves really quicky so I had to keep reapplying. The smell to me is nice, VERY raspberry, but if you dont like strong smells this could be over powering. All in all, if you're in a pinch this would do but if you can afford something else... definitely go with something else.

Been using this for years and it has worked great. However, this will be my last can. Despite the listing here, the can is no longer rust proof aluminum, and it leaves rust stains like it's going out of style.
