When I have excruciating pain that I can’t control with my natural, holistic methods the pain makes me throw up. Pepto really helps me immensely not to throw up as much. Works excellently! I don't play when it comes to taking care of my stomach! I attend a lot of events, and they may serve foods that don't agree with my stomach, so I pour into a smaller bottle and may have to take a swig in the bathroom. Because it's liquid, it works faster than my prescription pepcid.

I don’t get heartburn or indigestion often, but when I do I want quick relief. This is a good fast recovery for gas, heartburn and indigestion. The taste is mild and I get quick relief. If you take it before you eat something you know may upset your stomach, you can reduce your discomfort. The twin pack is cost effective.

I picked up the Equate Upset Stomach Relief Bismuth Liquid in-store, and since trying it, it’s become my go‑to when I’m dealing with occasional stomach discomfort. It’s clear and feels smooth going down, which I find comforting when I’m already feeling uneasy. In terms of taste, it’s noticeable but not overly strong. It’s certainly mild enough to take without much hesitation, though personally I find the flavor a bit less pleasant than some traditional remedies, it’s not a deal‑breaker, but I wouldn’t call the taste enjoyable. If you’re sensitive to flavor, a small sip of water afterward helps settle the palate. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this and Pepto except HUGE price difference. It works great and quickly. As for taste I put 3 stars cuz it's not so great but same as Pepto so that's just part of the deal... Lol. TIP... if you don't already I have already I have always put this and Philips milk of magnesium and any other liquid medicine that has that milky chalky appearance/taste in the fridge. I find those types of medicine taste a lot better when their cold rather than room temperature. I put them in the fridge as soon as I bring them home from the store so that it starts getting cold even if I don't need it then. That way when I do need it it's already cold and ready for me to take.

I have compared this to Pepto Bismol, they are both basically the same. This really does work great. It helps with upset stomach, diarrhea and more. I have been using this, from WalMart for close to 8 years. I won't change. It is also less expensive than the name brand. It has also helped with my ulcers, when I was out of my medication for my ulcers.

Okay don't read if you have a queasy stomach! Oh wait, if you do take some of this stuff. This OTC medication is so similar to that "Peppie" other stuff it is amazing! I'm not a Chemist so I don't know how close it is but like the big name it stops diarrhea. But I think in a blindfold taste test I could taste the difference. So what about price? It's far less expensive. But just like toilet paper, I don't care how many bears butts it cleans long as it does mine! And it does settle my stomach.

While the price is affordable …this is hard to take !!! The taste is wayyyyyyy too sweet and has an after taste that is horrible… it is bad enough to take pepto but this is so bad it made me sicker to my stomach …I only gave it a one star bc the bottle looked nice ..u can do better !!!!
