Equate Vanilla Nutritional Shake Plus 6-8 fl oz bottles

My Dad started drinking these after his major heart surgery about 6 years ago. He's now 86 and on home hospice, but has continued to maintain his optimum weight of 160 lbs with his 3 or more daily Equate + intake. Mom drinks them as well. They both thoroughly enjoy their Equate vanilla plus drinks and I try hard to keep them well stocked. Walmart.com's delivery service has been a true godsend for this and other products and I now buy everything we use that I possibly can from this service. I hope the packaging problems improve, the Equate could be more reliably in stock and that one day everything will be available for home delivery!

I got this product to help me maintain fitness levels while deployed to Afghan. The food here wasent very healthy so I got it basically for a pre and post workout drink. It works great. Helps me get the right amount of vitimans needed. Compared to Ensure its basically the exact same thing but just a lot cheaper. From now on this is the product I'll pick over Ensure.

This is my second time ordering a 24 package of this meal replacement drink. It tastes identical to the brand name at a very reasonable price. The ordering continues to be very easy and the shipping time is very minimal. My only concern is the packaging. The first time, the box it was shipped in was twice as big as the item; the second time, it was about 4 times as big. I'm afraid my next order may not fit in thru the front door.

Since the age of 2 my son has drunk "Boost Plus" to maintain growth and for quick meals before we woke up and before he could make his own food (he's now 8). He still loves it and sometimes has one or two a day. Then, a few months ago, they changed the formula and he hates it. We've tried every single possible substitute and he dislike all of them. Finally, the last possible choice was Walmart's brand (not a Walmart near us so we don't get in too often and with all the recommendations we had tried, it wasn't on the list.) Eureka!! He loves it AND it's less expensive than the old "Boost". So, we did the Walmart circuit but most stores only have one or two of the Vanilla 6 packs. Fantastic that we can just order what we want on-line! I sure hope Walmart doesn't change its formula...

My son lives on this and has to drink 8 bottles or now boxes per day. He is unable to swallow solid food. I don't know why but the local store is ALWAYS out of it and now it hasn't been available on line since June. When you live on this how do you get the product????????? I have gotten him Ensure since but the store in Lowville NY is low on that most of the time also.

Unfortunately when the packaging of this product changed recently, the taste changed also and not for the good. I started drinking these shakes a few months ago to gain weight. I was drinking 3 shakes a day. The taste of the shake was rich and creamy, and now they seem more watered down They are no longer pleasant tasting, and it seems as if something is missing. The packaging no longer states that it is for weight gain and weight maintenance. I probably will switch to a different brand because of this.

I used to buy ensure, but recently switched to the equate version since it was cheaper. Recently they change their packaging and have you drinking out of a straw, and have "improved" the taste. The new taste is drinkable, but it tastes a lot worse. I also do not want to drink out of a straw. I buy these for a quick and fast way to get extra nutrition. Drinking with a straw takes longer to drink these and is more of a hassle trying to get everything on the bottom. Until they switch this back to the old version I will spend more to get ensure. The product I put this review on is the old good version since the new version has not been posted online yet. Hopefully walmart will get this switched back.
