This is the BEST low-cost toothpaste, on par with Crest Total care delivering just as many results as the more expensive Crest toothpaste does AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE!!! For a list of ALL the benefits of this toothpaste read the front/sides of the box in the pictures but the feature that I like most about the paste is its whitening!! This toothpaste certainly does not lack in this department and also has a nice, understated mint taste to it that you enjoy while brushing that also stays with you after you have finished!! The toothpaste has a likable gritty texture, almost like the polish that your dentist uses to clean your teeth at the dentist's office!! I've also found that this paste is good for teeth sensitivity, as I have had NO PROBLEMS eating VERY HOT food or beverages or VERY COLD food or beverages after brushing!! The paste also does a nice job to shield your teeth from future cavities and plaque with regular brushing!! As I wrote above, it has a nice understated mint tasting flavor to it!! Thank you Equate and Walmart!!
The equate versions of high end toothpaste are great, more affordable and work just as well, if not better. I will continue to buy these types as they are working well for our family. We feel like they do get teeth and gumline clean, they do the attributes listed on the box.
The top brands of toothpaste promise lots of cleaning power but it comes at a high price. This Equate toothpaste gives you clean teeth and fresh breath without spending continuous rising cost of top brands
I was previously using Sensodyne toothpaste, but it was getting expensive. I noticed this Equate toothpaste had the same active ingredients, so I tried it out. It works just as well, and I think the mint taste is even better than Sensodyne.
Cleans as good as the leading brands
Has the ingredient I was looking for and most importantly at the price I wanted
It's fine--and the price is superfine. Highly recommended.
I was pleasantly surprised by this toothpaste. I have been searching for a toothpaste that wouldn't burn my already irritated gums like all the very many different versions of Crest for gum health toothpastes I have tried 😒 (why are there so many??! 😆), and this Equate Optimal Care toothpaste finally did the trick and brought me some relief! Hasn't hurt my sensitive teeth, either. Wish it didn't have SLS as an ingredient, b/c that's what usually causes irritation, but so far so good. I also like the flavor, it doesn't leave an unpleasant aftertaste like most stannous fluoride toothpastes. It has a mild minty flavor, not too overpowering but still freshens breath. I can't speak to its whitening effects, but I didn't really get it for that.
This is not for me. I am a smoker and it does not have enough whitening power. I had to brush my teeth first with baking soda and then use this and it still didn't do what it says. I returned it and brought my usual which definitely works on the first round.
Again, I bought the toothpaste and the flip cap didn't work. Very frustrating! Didn't freshen breath like Colgate or Crest! Bought for the low price. You get what you pay for.
