Equine Natural Fly and Tick Spray; 8 oz

I have been using the Santa Cruz Natural Fly and Tick Spray for a couple of years now. I love the way it smells, my horses do too. It definitely works and you do need to spray more often than you would the harsh chemical ones, but for me not allowing my horses skin to absorb those chemicals into their skin is key. I would absolutely recommend this product.

My horses recoil from heavy fly repellents, but they seem to know the difference when this more natural product is applied. I have tried MANY natural fly sprays. This is the only one that seems to last for more than 30 minutes AND does not irritate my horse's skin! Really like this stuff and buy gallons at a time for our whole herd.

We have just started a very early fly season here and really like this product as it is all natural and no horrible ingredients that will hurt both our animals and our soil, We are an organic farm so this is important.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There seems to be pros and cons to this repellent. It works quite well for flies and mosquitoes, but I'm still finding ticks on my guy. I have to admit that ticks are bad this year. They started showing up early and have gotten worse. I try to spray as best I can, even on trouble areas. I wipe the repellent on his face, along mane and even on tail bone, plus an all over spray on whole body, but still find the little buggers. I don't want to use chemical repellents, because I try to keep my property organic. Maybe I'll just have to put him in a big bubble!
