actually had to cancel and they handled it efficiently
This is a great item that you can add to your older vehicles that doesn’t have one. It easy mounts to the license plate and easy to install. If you need assistant parking this is for you! It’s a game changer and will save you from dents and dings from hitting other vehicles when backing in. I bought this as a gift for my daughter. The instruction are not the best. Betsy
Extremely well made, thick steel. Nicely finished, durable paint. Very easy to install - I installed mine behind the plate and all you can see is the tiny cam just above the plate. Camera is waterproof and has NOT fogged up after repeatedly getting wet, and sitting out in the sun. This camera does not have the IR lights, however the backup lights on my vehicle are more than enough for a crisp picture at night. During daylight hours, the picture is clear and crisp. The parking assist lines can be disabled easily if needed. Very, very pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend.
Good quality and result for this car camera especially reversing. I used it in place of old camera and it has a lot better result. Really liked the quality.
Nice replacement for my current one. Easier to install with the guides that fit over license place. Set angle so I don’t have to.
I really like this updated model backup camera. It’s sleek design that shows just a small part of the camera while the metal is hidden behind the license plate. The colors are bright and clear in the image. Nice upgrade for me. Would happily recommend. My only complaint is that they did not update their instructions from their previous model so it is slightly different, still straightforward install.
Really impressed by this camera. Very clear quality. Easy to install, simple design, and not bulky. Worked seamlessly with my Pioneer double din. The camera wire is small so you can feed it through into your trunk easily. Perfect for what I needed. The best feature is how you can install it behind your license plate. Fits perfectly. If necessary the bar holding the camera is adjustable with a little bit of force.
I really like it I have a older tahoe with a great stereo so it has not been changed so I have a screen that is used for this back up camera. The camera is a good quality with very good night vision. The range is excellent so I have no complaints and it is a very good product.
if you don't already have a backup camera, this is a super easy way to add one. it mounts like a license plate frame and and comes with all the wiring you'll need. you can choose to have the parking guide lines or not. the instructions are the only reason i didn't give this a 5 star rating. they're not very easy to understand and seem to have been written by someone who doesn't really speak English. i had to read through them several times before i figured out the proper wiring but it is pretty simple. 1} attach the camera to your license plate mount and feed the wires attached to it into your trunk. 2) if you use the camera in the front of your vehicle instead of the rear, cut the white wire to 'un-mirror' the image 3) if you do not want the parking guide lines, cut the green wire. 4) run the 8' wire from the dashboard of your vehicle so the way back to the camera... don't plug it into the camera yet. 5) connect the red wire at the trunk end of the long cable to your reverse lights and the red wire at the dashboard end to your stereo's "reverse" input trigger wire. (there is something in the instructions about connecting the red wire to an "always on when the key is on" wire to use the camera as an always on monitor. from personal experience you'd need to connect the dashboard end's red wire to the trigger for your monitor, not your car stereo's reverse input or your stereo will think that you're always in reverse) 6) plug the yellow connector into your vehicle's video input or your monitor input. 7) plug the long wire into the connector attached to the camera and test things out. If you did it right, your camera will be working perfectly.
it stoped working after a couple months it does have a really good resolution but the fact that it just works sometimes that's the reason of 1 star i bought one in amazon for my other car about 3 yrs ago and never had any issues
