Ergodyne Chill-Its 6602 Evaporative Cooling Towel, Gray

These cooling towels work great! They are so easy to use and they hold the cooling moisture for a really long time. After shift we rinse them well, wring them out and hang to air dry and they are stiff as a sheet of cardboard. Once you put them in the water again to "activate" them, they go back to being soft and pliable. The label says they are hand and machine washable (air dry only!), which is great! I have washed mine many times and it's still going strong. One thing I disagree with on the label is they state if you use it daily you can roll it up damp and store in the tube with the lid off. Maybe if you don't have a locker in a really warm environment? We experienced smelly mildew. In my opinion it's just better to let them air dry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I used it for the first time cutting grass. It was ok. Maybe it wasnt so hot outside. But it did help. So I am a believer. Just kerp it cool. I had to go over to the outside faucet to wet it again. I think once i get the hang of it. It will be my go to item for outside work. You eill love it. I am going to machine wash it after a few times. Dont hang dry it because it will literally be a piece of card board. Just wash it and place it back in the plastic tube So stay hydrated and get one of these towels.

I love the color and quality of the cooling towel. It certainly does the job working outside in the garden in 90 degree weather, it keeps me cool and doesn't drench my shirt

Stays wet and cooler longer than regular towel. Drys without musty smell. Perfect fir hit, humid days on the golf course. Use ice water in cooler to refresh it as needed.

Not crazy about how thick it is. It does absorb water very well, hopefully it does its job !

this thing solidify when it got wet, and it doesnt bend, fold, or anything. It is a hard piece of thin foam, it does not cool, it does not absorb sweat, or water, it is such a waste of money. I followed the instructions for care and I am deeply disappointed.
