The hoodie is really soft and comfortable! I have no worries about not being seen around the workshop or out in the field. I love all of the Ergodyne GloWear.

As I’m working I normally have to remove layers to be able to function. Not this sweater. I was able to keep it on the whole time. Wished I got it sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hoodie. I have experienced temperatures ranging from 20’s up to 70’s lately including wind, rain, snow, you name it. I have been comfortable every time I put this hoodie on, and the hi vis has brought me extra comfort when loading/unloading equipment on roadways. I have washed it 4 times so far and the color has not faded one bit. It was packaged very well with paper between the hi vis sections to ensure it maintains its reflective qualities. Overall a great product, 10/10 would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing can be seen from space!!! In the fog and dark this hoodie is visible from a couple hindred yards easy. I did not measure but probably close to that in dense fog and sunrise. It is a relatively warm hoodie that is not quite built to block a lot of wind. 40 to 60 degrees it was not too hot and kept me warn enough to work outside for most of the day. Fit was nice and baggy for me just the way I like my hoodies. As with any hi-vis it shows dirt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Ergodyne Performance Hi-Vis Hooded Sweatshirt on job sites for the past couple weeks, and it’s easily one of the best pieces of workwear I’ve added to my rotation. First off, the comfort is outstanding. I’ve worn it through long workdays in both Salt Lake City and Denver, where the mornings can start cold and the afternoons warm up fast. The material hits that sweet spot—it’s warm enough to take the bite out of those early mountain air mornings, but breathable enough that I’m not sweating by lunchtime. The inside is soft and flexible, so it doesn’t feel stiff or bulky like some hi-vis gear can. The visibility is excellent. The bright hi-vis color and reflective striping really stand out, especially during early starts and late afternoons when the light is low. Another thing I really appreciate is the fit. It’s cut like a normal hoodie instead of a boxy safety jacket. It moves freely with you when you’re bending, lifting, or climbing. The hood fits comfortably over a hard hat without constantly slipping off. Overall, this hoodie checks every box. Comfortable, highly visible, great fit, and durable enough for real workdays. If you spend long hours outdoors and need hi-vis gear that doesn’t feel like a compromise, the Ergodyne Performance Hi-Vis Hooded Sweatshirt is absolutely worth it. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item was shipped out and arrived quickly. I was instantly impressed by the quality of the hoodie. It was insulated, it was durable and sturdy. It's soft to the touch, but ready for a hard day of work in the field. I used this sweatshirt while log cutting for several days for two weeks, and it withstood the weather and the beating. From the pictures you'll notice that wood chips tend to stick to the sweatshirt, but these are quickly removed with a few brushes of the hand. The hoodie is not the most breathable item. A few days out in the woods, the item was a comfort because it helped to insulate body heat even with the rash of cold days that we experienced here in virginia. But during the warmer days, it was noticeably warmer with the hoodie on. Wear when you need to insulate, not ventilate! I would highly recommend this product as a go-to for daily wear if you work outdoors and in hard elements.

This hooded sweatshirt in XL was a perfect fit, not too warm, and has a spacious front pocket. I easily overheat if something doesn't breath or is just too warm. This sweatshirt keeps me safe, while not making me overheat. Nice heavy material, not some cheap thin sweatshirt. Nice shape, too, and the hood is a good size.

I have put this hoodie through a lot since I got it and it cleans up really good. When it gets wet you don't feel it on the inside.. I would like to see a hoodie like this with zippers on the pockets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glo Wear hoodie rose to my top work sweaters in a matter of days! Everything it was design for :comfort, movement due to the segmented tape, locks in warmth, and the black paneling definitely works! 1) Extremely comfortable soft fabric but yet "heavy and thick" like fabric is still extremely comfortable to work in all types of work environments especially in small tight spaces( as an electrician I find myself in those pretty often) 2) My legs were cold but not my torso! Cold mornings are definitely not the same with Glo Wear is all I have to say. Also when the day starts to warm up the fabric is some how breathable and "hot flashes" are extremelly minimal to the point were I notice the day is warm but is still bareable to keep my Glo Wear on. 3) Black paneling definitely helps keep it looking clean much longer but even on the lime color areas dirt and other grimes dont seem to really stick but for sure over all material keeps hoodie looking clean! The only issue/con I did notice is, as an electrician, I carry a note pad, pencil, marker, and pen for taking down notes and measurements or making cut likes etc. The concern is the quick access/readiness, speed of reaching for those objects during fast past environments of new construction/ roughing-in new buildings. Since the kangaroo pocket is the only pocket, having them in the same pocket makes it a bit trouble some getting them out especially while wearing a tool belt. Its a minor issue but not enough to deter me from not using the hoodie. Perhaps a future addition of a pencil or chest pocket for such items would definitely be noticible by electricians. I really have been enjoying this product so much that Ive told my co-workers about its qualities (they also see me wear it all day) and they should 100% percent invest in one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the GloWear 8317BK Performance Hi-Vis Hooded Sweatshirt on the job for a few weeks now and it’s been great so far. The visibility is excellent, especially early in the morning and later in the evening when lighting isn’t the best. The reflective striping really stands out and gives me extra peace of mind working near traffic. What I like most is the comfort. It’s warm without feeling bulky, and the material feels durable enough for daily work. The black bottom is also a nice touch since it doesn’t show dirt nearly as much as lighter colors. The hood fits well over a hard hat when needed, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s a solid, high-quality work hoodie that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Comfortable, visible, and built for real jobsite use. I’d definitely buy another one.
