Cheap and to the point, excellent value!
Cheap and to the point. Solid protection, breathes a little bit, some light padding on the inside enough to be comfortable. I use it when bike riding and barely notice it's there but it's definitely firm enough to save the noggin. Also, it has fit all of the hats I've tried it with.

Good lightweight protection
Good protection inside most baseball caps. I wanted protection from the metal button on the top. Was good protection from small limbs falling on my head that I pruned

From the first time I saw this at another store for $22, I thought it was a great idea. Whe. I searched further and found it at the Walmart online store for a little over $5.00. I ordered it. Though not a true hardhat, being able to easily switch it between hats and get the protection from head bumps while working around my property was great. This was a great idea waiting to happen. Best of all, it is not even evident that you are wearing it inside a cap.

I came back to buy 4 more ! I didn't expect it to work and fit so well. It's even trim able to fit better.

works great for adult sized caps
I got it for my kid. It's too big so I trimmed it down, as instructed. Still a bit big even though I trimmed at the line. I could trim it more but for now, it's ok. Have not tested durability yet.

keeps you from skinning your noggin.
I like it well enough I may order another. Haven't had to trim it to fit a cap yet, as it's fit everything I have stuck it in. I wear it mostly on my E bike as I like a visor and every bike helmet I've seen don't have one. Probably won't protect you from much more than a June bug. But at least it's something. And would probably keep the rocks from sticking to your scalp.

Ergodyne is good quality
This is not the same Ergodyne I have, but I will say this about the brand Ergodyne- it is good quality in design and in material. I do not know if there is a better product for this, and I have no complaints and I will recommend Ergodyne.

This was way too big for my head plus there are two small bumps on the inside, which can hurt your head unless you have a visor that you can put through it. The visor takes care of that.
