I was nervous about this because I hate spending this price when online shopping but it arrived three days earlier than estimated, especially considering the circumstances (COVID). I tried to use it and at first it was so hard and I didn't want to break it but when I managed to open it that first time I absolutely loved it! The pictures show that you can set it up tilted so that your laptop is almost standing but I set it up in a way that makes the laptop sit flat-ish a little higher than my table and I use the lower part of the stand as a mouse pad. Now I open and close it and pack it up whenever I need to take it out of my workspace. (My sister has the same model but a smaller size as a phone stand.)
I was a little wary of this purchase, but so far it has been an excellent buy. It is very firm and does not sink or sag from the position you place it at. I use it for my work laptop as I now work from home due to the pandemic. I was looking for something to raise my laptop screen to eye level. You do not realize the vast improvement of bringing your screen to an appropriate height. It is overall a more comfortable working position, I highly recommend this to anyone who works from home at any capacity.
I find no fault nor problem with this stand at all. Trust me, it is very strong and firm to hold all your devices, specifically laptops and tablets. It also comes with an adjustable screw just in case it's too tight for you and you would like to loosen it a little.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lamp there are so many different functions for lift on this desk lamp. Also it's like a c-clamp base which is awesome so you can pretty much attach ot wherever you want. It's not wireless so you will have to use it near an outlet or run an extension cord besides that this lamp is very nice and great quality
This works great for my 15.6", 4-pound, laptop. Machining/finish is good all around, and the "girder" style arms add to stability compared to thinner-armed designs. Since aluminum is a great thermal conductor (good for helping cool computers) I much prefer this stand to my previous steel stand, and my older 2-book lump setup. The included hex key works just fine to make adjustments. Light and compact enough for car travel, and not too bad for air travel if necessary. Highly recommended for average-weight laptops. Just for info, my 15.6" laptop hangs over about 2 inches on each side of the base plate, so I'd guess a larger laptop could be less stable.
At the start of working at home due to the pandemic, neck aches were constant. My raising desk wasn't high enough for my laptop to meet at eye level - whether sitting in my chair or standing. I put books under my laptop to raise it, but it began to get harder to lift the desk and I grew concerned about how much weight was on it, especially since I had another monitor. I got this guy and it's awesome. It's super secure! The laptop sits on the grips and doesn't move. I tried moving it once I put it on and nope, not a budge. Doesn't move when I raise my desk, either - not a teeny bit. Absolutely no wobbles. The adjustments are stiff, too. It's not going to fold on you so your expensive 'not yours laptop' is secure (which I had mine repaired 3 times due to use and age, and I don't want a 4th time). Moving the stand to maneuver it in the right position took some pressure, which made me think 'okay this thing isn't going anywhere'. Really really happy with it. I would suggest this for anyone who has to work at home.
I actually purchased this to hold my Bible up at an angle to keep from having to look down while reading. This has helped save my neck and back when reading. It came wellpacked, set up quickly and easily, and has served exactly the purpose I hoped it would.
I got this for my home work station. This fits a 13" macbook perfectly, I'm sure something larger would work fine but 17" laptops might feel a bit large on this. The joints on it are very strong so you can still rest your hands on your computer to type. This has made working so much more comfortable already even after one day.
Works well and looks really nice. The bolts in the joints were incredibly tight from the factory but once my husband got them loose for me it's been fine. Any time you want to adjust the position, you need a tool to loosen the bolts. Not a complaint, I just wanted something more easily adjustable.
Overall the product is great, it provides great ventilation to your laptop, improves your posture, and it saves space, but everytime I type, the screen wobbles and it can get annoying very fast, so if you ever decide to get one yourself, I recommend getting an external keyboard to greatly reduce the wobble.
