Well I lost the review I was working on here so have the short version. This is a reasonably good working meter for the price. It does allow you to track the route of energized wires inside walls but has a VERY slow high reading recovery speed that makes the task onerous and it acts like it has a single antenna so is relatively direction/angle dependent. It easily shows whether a motor is starting- stopping- running or a device is plugged in at all (see photos of unplugged and plugged in low voltage device and stopped and running 120v fan). The "warnings" threshold is way too low, beeping and turning red for perfectly normal non hazardous non concerning field level readings, while the beep can be turned off you are stuck with the overly dramatic red screen, perhaps it is to appeal to the wannabe ghost hunters out there? The manual is usable but in a borderline unusably small font size, an online copy of the manual that you can adjust the size of for easier reading if needed is currently available at https://www.rowancountylibrary.org/things/emf-reader. I was going to title my review who ya gonna call, ghost busters. Decided against it. This gadget detects electric and magnetic fields. What in the world is my dog staring at, oh, sorry, I am off on the ghost detection again. To be serious, it is an important gadget that can test electric field radiation AND magnetic field emission to reach the optimal test results. This item can be used indoor and outdoor. It has a radiation sensor built into it. It really is a safety item to aid you in protecting yourself and your family. If something is giving off a large amount of radiation, you may want to get rid of that something before it results in bodily harm. It arrive with charged, a charging cable, and an instruction booklet. The little booklet will instruct how to use the meter, what the settings are, etc. Worthy item.

Y'all I've recently gone crunchy as you know, however I'm calling it crispy. I'm not all the way there yet and this device just elevated the crisp. I love seeing how bad everything is for you that you live with day-to-day. The detector arrived fully charged, it does come with a USB-C cord for charging please note that it does not include the cube. I appreciated the instruction manual as you will probably need to take a gander at it to decipher all of the different readings that you get with this one item. I find it to be a perfect handheld sized great addition for any home. It was nice to be able to test different products and enviroments without a large investment cost. Well worth the $ Highly recommend this item!

I got this to detect ghosts. But, now I realize my home is bombarded with nasty, invisible electrical waves and radiation. We have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Phones, Computers, IPads, and a very large power line that runs across the front yard above our front door. We had a storm knock that wire down and it burnt the grass where it was lying on. We were told to stay inside the house, not touch anything metal until the power company came and put it back up on the pole. That tells me a lot of power is rushing through that wire. I charged this detection unit up as soon as I unboxed it. When I turned it on, the blue screen turned red and the alarm started to sound off very loud. Made me a little afraid until I realized my laptop computer was a few feet away from the detector.I turned the alarm off and I walked to the other room and the numbers did go down, but the screen stayed red. I guess all the electrical interference might be keeping the ghosts away. BUT, I have a camera mounted in my basement in case it floods down there again. It keeps warning me of a "human" presence down there and all I see is shadows moving. Plus the only access to the basement is in my dining room and that door is always bolted. I am lucky to have lived in haunted houses before, so ghosts do not bother me.....yet.

the emf reader is really cool im still learning to use it it seems to only beep and go off when im around electrical devices im still learning how to use it and to see what benefits are of it but it is a nice device

Aweful. As soon as I removed it from the box and turned it on, it started beeping. After I shut it off, and back on, I took it to the middle of a room. There were no electrical devices near, and it started beeping. Cheap device.👎🏽
