Great & easy to use
Works Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wireless digital thermometer seems to work quite well. The desired temperatures for common types of meat are preset. You can also set a timer. But without a timer, the thermometer sends an alarm when the meat reaches the desired temperature. The instructions are not very good, but it's pretty easy to figure out. I haven't tried setting an individual temperature, so I don't know if that is something you can do, all in all, I think it's a good purchase… a good value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item comes out of the box well packaged and even comes with the necessary batteries to get you started right away. We've used it a couple times with beef and chicken so far and it appears to be spot on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works well. The LCD display is only visible when tilted in stand, so you can't have it laying flat in the counter. The backlight is intermittent (3-5 seconds) with no method to turn on again except by changing settings or starting and stopping timer. Temperature was accurate compared to my commercial thermometer stick. Overall a very useful tool for getting your meat the right temp without the guessing.
Not the greatest Thermometer. Would not buy this item again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of this because we grill ALOT ! when I tried to put the batteries in the back. The stand broke off. Cheaply made ! Used it for pork ribs and it said they were done when my regular Manuel meat thermometer said they were not ! Would love to see improvements on a product like use ! I'd use it several times a week !
What I like from it: Came with the 4 batteries need it to work. Decent price. Easy to understand after a few minutes of playing with. The cable is long enough and sound is loud to be heard when not closed from it. I can see clear screen during night. The cable is 100% metallic . What I do not like from it: Does not look durable. There is not custom temperature that I can setup. There is not vibration alert option.
Display dim and hard to read. Disconnects too easily.
Cheaply built. Feels awfully flimsy
