Great Addition to my Redline 360 C detector. Easy setup and use. Been a Customer since 1982 when I purchased my first Escort detector. Such a great advance in technology. Everything paired with the Drive App on phone. Definitely 5+ Stars I look forward to another long relationship with these products.

I received the dash cam, which is replacing and old M1, and it is really different, better, and it only needs to download the DmartDrive app to start the connection, It is very easy and simple, compared with the old M1 that had to go through a process of connection with its own app.

I witnessed an accident prior to getting my unit and the movies that I have recorded once I got my unit are quite remarkable and if something happens from now on, I have it covered. So I will be capturing movies while driving from now on. The recording also records my speed so I will need to watch my speed more carefully as well.

Like it. Unfortunately when I plugged it in and the unit updated, I now have an error code of Replace Sensor 1. I will be calling or emailing when I have more than a moment. The sensors were are $1500. I have the WiFi version. Don't know if it is camera related. I hope Escort makes it right! I have faith in them!

Pictures featuring the app in your marketing material don't match real life. Other than that it's a solid purchase I was just expecting what was advertised.

I HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO SEE HOW IT OPERATES AND THE RECORDING QUALITY. BUT THE USER MANUAL NEED A LOT OF WORK. i. e. SOME TERMINOLOGY USED IN THE MANUAL DOES NOT MATCH THE TERMINOLOGY IN THE DIAGRAMS (i. e. The parts of the manual states "Multi Function Button". THE LAYOUT DOES NOT SHOW A MULTI FUNCTION BUTTON), so where is that at. SOME INSTRUCTIONS ARE VAGUE/MISSING. i. e. DOWNLOADING TO THE COMPUTER. THE MANUAL DOES NOT SAY SQUAT ABOUT INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW. IT JUST SAYS "CONNECT. . . " EVERYTHING SEEMS TO GO THRU THE "DRIVE SMARTER APP". OK, WHERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDANCE FOR THAT? IF YOU ASK ME LATER, I CAN LEAVE A BETTER RATING, ONCE I FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THE SETTINGS, ECT. . .

Upfront this camera is well designed and operationally sound. It's easy to setup and the user App is a quick download to your mobile. And that's about where it ends. My greatest drawback is the camera's mounting bracket that is attached to the radar mount. The two devices are essentially both attached to the radar mount and cannot be separated individuallywithout having to remove the entire radar mount from its suction grab. Granted the radar is still able to be removed however its power source is Daisy-chained thru the camera's power line. This unique setup makes it difficult to remove just the two devices together, particularly at federal installations that forbid these devices to be in use. So now you are left to either get use to the cumbersome step of always removing your radar mount at the suction point every day you drive onto these installations, or simply fashion a customized workaround like I have which is not recommended but it's doable for now. Sorry I can't give this a full 5 star rating since I've had to make so many adjustments to make it work for my situation.

I set up. I watched a lot of videos and I watched the professional and I set up mine like professional. And I have a lot of false warnings. The problem is the app if somebody marked on the app if it sends to the radar, there's a cop there not an actually reading laser or something. It says there's a cop when you pass. There's a cop when somebody marks on the app. It should be only up giving you the warning not the app sending to the radar to give you the warning and it takes forever to connect to Wi-Fi and the cameras a pain in ass to connect the cameras connecting and click on the video and it takes forever. You have to do 35 times to connect again until it's very slow to watch the videos. He needs a lot of work and the mounting it's a piece of junk. I have my windshield and the radar is touching the windshield and fell down when the sun it's hitting failing it's felling down the sucking cup it's a piece of junk that sticky stuff comes off and I had to pay another 100 bucks to get a professional mounting for the money you pay piece of junk engineers need to redesign and actually testing themselves not us paying to test for them. They should give this for free.

The detector works great... the Smartdrive app needs a lot of revamping. For the money, the app should be flawless. Carplay being tethered to the app doesn't help either, probably makes things worse with the poor connectivity between the 3 products... 2 apps and the actual unit.

The M2 camera is very lack luster. It looks kinda clunky, the 1080p camera is outdated and obsolete. I wish it would pair with the app better and be able to live stream easier. I purchased this to attach to my redline 360c device. I love the redline 360c detector, but i probably wont purchase the M2 camera again.
