So far with owning it for just a week, it's a great improvement over my old Escort max. I love being able to adjust the settings on the phone application instead of trying to do on the device! It was surprisingly quiet around town right out of the box. Also the escort live feature is a nice option as it provides speed limit information for the road I am on. So far great device!
Very easy to order. Arrived when said very prompt. I love the escort brand. I have retired about 4 or 5 so far and im still running 3. Woul love to get the redline but its out of my budget. I always recommend escort if anybody is looking for a good radar detector.
This thing is awesome on the road, but I can't get it to connect to my phone. I've tried and tried and tried and reset and disconnected and turned off my Bluetooth and turned off everything 1 million times and it's still will not connect to my phone and I have an iPhone 16 pro it should connect right away, but it doesn't only downfall to this product. Just bought my wife a red line And we can't connect that then we can't even get the camera to connect. It says it's going on every time in the car and it says camera shut down, but we can't download it to connect to our phone or our laptop or iPad to see the video technical assistance is next to none. I would expect a little more care from such a high-end excellent company for years.
I have had my Max 3 for a few weeks and love it. Over the past 30 years I have had Escort's looking out for me when I travel,,
I really wanted a modern raider detector and wanted to be able to use it with a camera. The Max3 works with the Escort M2 camera. Great little setup!
Exactly what I was looking for. Not the top of the line but a detector that warns me before I am caught misbehaving for a reasonable price.
Have used passport products for 40 years-was dissappointed that can't read the display when sun is shining at all even at maximum brightness
I'm highly disappointed. I checked the box that I was going to have a trade-in at the time of my purchase. Now I'm being told my purchase wasn't high enough to qualify for the trade-in credit. If I would've been told this from the beginning I could've used a $50 off discount code that I had.
The update process is horrible. There's been problems and complaints with the update process for years and it's still horrible. My 360 I had years ago was also hard to connect for updates. It should just update thru the drive app. That would be to easy and user friendly. When you call support they blame your cables, firewall or computer ports. I have a brand new Mac desktop and a brand new MacBook pro and bought the different data cables and it wouldn't update with any of it. The tech told me "it's just to much for some people" to figure out the update process. Acted like I was computer illiterate. How condescending is that?
Extremely disappointed after having been a long time customer of Escort radar detectors. You can hardly see the screen during the day and the volume or should I say the lack of volume is pitiful. A total waste of money and I'd rate it a zero if it would let me. Refund my money!!
