ESCORT MAX 4 Laser Radar Detector - Exceptional Range, 2X Filtering Accuracy, AutoLearn™, Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto® (New)

I havent had a Radar Dectector in over 30 years. The last one was a 2nd gen Passport Battery operated model. Escort has always been my choice and I am impressed with my MAXX4. The Drive Smart App and the notifications coming through the phone, when connected to my ear buds gives me an audible warning. The app allows you to mark Police locations. nice, but I think for it to be more Effective, more people must report locations, (HOW many people have an Escort Radar Detector vs. Google Maps). SO I still use Google maps too, which will allow drivers to report police locations, and traffic situations. Overall, I love it. it just brings another level of protection.

It's a good radar detector I wish it came with better information how to operate it it just automatically mute after one beep but besides that's it works very well

The radar works perfectly (5/5), but the GPS is a 1/5; if I enter a destination and then want to play music, it loses the programmed route. There are very good GPS systems available, so it's disappointing that such an expensive unit uses one that doesn't work. if we can use Waze with escort radar will be a dream

The service and ordering process was awesome. My vehicle has been in the shop getting some work done to it so not had a chance to actual try it. I mounted it on a mirror mount and now need to get familiar with it as had an old passport 8500 which I loved

So far so good. I must say, I don't like the audio as it is hard to understand what "she" is saying. I would have thought it would have been a lot clearer and precise for this price point. That is really my only concern as of now as I have had it out on the road for only 2 hours.

I bought the Escort Max4 as a gift for my husband as a gift. He LOVES it! He said it's the best gift he's ever gotten (he's 60 years old). It picks up a lot further away than any of the others we've had. Heeée said 10 out of of 10. So thank you for making him so gg

Works excellent like Escorts reputation, and my past Escort devices. Question, Do you have to use the app to get the "Speed Limit" next to your current speed?

I purchased the usb-c cord and the max 4. I drive a 2026 gmc sierra denali. The detector powers off when truck shut off and turns on automatically when truck started. Highly recommend ed.

Not a bad unit. I expected less false single with is unit. I have had many Escort detecters for over 23 years. I have been using a Redline unit since 2015 and this unit does pickup a lot of K and X bands. Expected less. Overall, a good unit.

The escort Max 4 is really nice. Works very well. When it detects a radar I like how it'll chirp a couple times then go silent and just watch the light bar. It's a great radar detector. Thank you!
