Detector works very good. It should have been designed with a rechargable batters to power the Cam only when you exit the car. the power should last 4 hours. The next time you start the car it recharges the battery. This one feature will boost you sales. Good luck.
Have been using Escort Radar Detectors for many years. This detector is the best we have experienced and we have the 360C that is also great and was moved to another vehicle. The new one has more range and is certainly a cleaner look than the 360C and M2. Highly recommend.
Awesome radar / dashcam unit. Excellent range for radar. Camera's picture quality is first rate. Features are easy to control and understand. Sleek design with accessories that are well engineered. Haven't used the app yet since I live in a rural area. Look forward to using the app when I visit the big city.
I'm a first responder and shift worker and have recently moved which has led me to a 3. 5 hour commute twice every 8 days. As this is almost 90% highway travel I opted to replaced my aging Max 2 with something more current. My dash cam is also aged so this seemed like a worthy replacement. So far, happy with it and just tweaking some of the setting.
I haven't had my new Maxcam 360 out on the road yet but I really like all of the upgraded from my 9500Xi unit. The ability to filter out all of the automobile sensors that exist now will be needed ce and having an onboard camera is very important. I was very happy with my other radar detector and I will be surprised if this one isn't even better.
So far has proven to be a really great radar detector. The reason for a 4 start review is the set up. Downloaded the manual and that didn't make it any easier. I am going to call service to get help but don't feel like I should have had to take that step.
The radar itself has so far seems to work fine. The drive smarter app has so far been terrible! It's disappointing and frustrating! I wish I just bought the detector and skipped the video!
Really cool radar detector. Its ability to pick up radar from long distance, is amazing big step up from an older Escort I have. The only issue I have is the ability to stay connected through bluetooth.
I'm disappointed to find the radar detector current is incompatible with Verizon. I also expected more with respect to detection of school zone and red light cameras given the high cost of the maxcam 360c
This thing is so slow to pick up radar. Don't waste your money. Compared to my other escort radars this is picking things up hundreds of yards if not more, later than my other detectors
