I ride motorcycle all year long. Winter riding apparel is very high, and sometimes doesn't live up to the hype. I took a chance and bought a pair of these bibs and the legend jacket (still on backorder) but the bibs are amazingly warm. I have ridden down to 26 degrees F and wasn't a bit cold. I can wait to get the jacket! Very flexible, not bulky or restrictive, and are excellent for winter riding!
I also bought the matching jacket. See that reveiw. Im a short person. The length worked out. It is a little tight around the midgut but that is on me. Lol. Everything else is good on these. I got my size from work coveralls. It does keep the wind and cold out. The padding on the knee was adequate. You can adjust these by the suspenders and at the bottom alongwith the snow guard. At the bottom. As i said they fit my length as they came in. Way better than the coveralls i wore.
Very well designed product. I use them as my outer layer with a sweatshirt underneath. Nice to have plenty of pockets both in the bib portion and legs portion. Bib has 2 internal handwarmer pockets, 2 external hand warmer pockets, a zippered pocket (fit my larger phone and case), a flap pocket (ice pick rescue grips) and accessory strap to clip on pliers, sounders, etc. Pants portion has 2 pockets on each leg and 3/4 zip legs. All the flaps secure by magnet (very nice). The pant legs are designed to be lengthened instead of shortened, which make for a great fit for us shorter, thicker people. In terms of sizing: at 5'9", 220 lbs, 36x30 pants (L) and XL shirts - the XL fits good with plenty of room for a heavy sweatshirt underneath. Suspenders are adjustable and keep the crotch up high enough to comfortably bend down, walk, kneel, etc. My 6' 1" 260 lb son (power lifter build) felt the XL was too small for him, XXL fits him nicely.
Only got to wear them twice since it's warmed up some in south-east Indiana. But did wear them for several hours in 5°F conditions and was never once cold. Warmest piece of gear I've ever owned.
These bibs are by far the best ice fishing purchase I've probably ever made!! Super comfortable and very warm!! There's more pockets and loops on these bibs than you can imagine so it's easy to keep the things you need handy!
These are pretty good; it was able to keep me warm in -20 plus wind chill
Great bibs. first time ice fishing that my legs didn't get cold
Bought these for snowmobiling. Very warm, great quality. Love all of the pockets.
