Espoma 30 lbs. Organic Soil Acidifier

Great extra large bag of soil acidifier that even beats Walmart's store price per pound. The only questionable issue is the shipping boxes used by this seller. You can see it did not hold up well for transport and the bag could have easily ripped. When shipping an item this large you need to use a very sturdy box!

I've used this soil acidifier before and it worked well bc the price was high for the small bag so buying bigger bag reduced the price per pound. Just roll up the top after opening, put a rubber band around it to keep it sealed and store in a dry place. I keep mine in a large plastic container with a lid and my other fertilizers and garden items.

I had accidentally run out of this product and my hydrangeas were all starting to bloom. Walmart.com estimated shipping to take a week, which is understandable since the product weighs 30 lbs! So I was surprised and delighted when it showed up on my porch two days later! I immediately applied it and we have a rainstorm coming tonight, so I don't even need to fool with watering it into the soil. 👍👍

It's a great value! Also, I didn't have to hoist it into my car. It was delivered to my front door. So convenient!

I like this product and I have used it for years. However, though the bag of product was in a box, there was a hole in the bag on one end and the product leaked into the box and on my front porch. Since the box was sealed and didn't appear damaged, I'm concluding it was packed and shipped with the hole in product bag.

This order arrived in a box. In the box was a clear plastic bag. And in the bag was a quantity of loose product and a bag corresponding to what I ordered. So how do I know I received the right product in the correct amount? And what is it contaminated with. And I have to transfer it to another container to use it Very poor packaging and handling.

The soil acidifier never arrived. No notification from the seller. Seller also didn't respond to my request for more information. I would not buy from this seller.

The bag was shipped in a ripped open state. The box was in great condition but there was a large slash in the bag and the granules were all over... plus when I weighed what was in the box, it was 4 lbs less than what was expected. Item returned for a refund.
