When one is doing organic gardening, we need complete fertilizer that ignites fire in the soil. Espoma Garden-tone, has a blend of the organic ingredients (feather meal, poultry manure, Bone meal, alfalfa meal, green sand, etc). What make is magical is the generous supplement of beneficial microbes (6 million CFUs per gram). It is these beneficial microbes that start immediately working on the fertilizer, and converts the fertilizer into plant consumable form. Most other organic fertilizer does not contain these beneficial microbes. Unlike chemical fertilizer, it continues to provide nutrients at a steady rate. Basically, we are feeding the soil and not the plant. My garden is lush green and super healthy. At the price offered, it is a steal - we get Lexus at the price of Toyota!

I use this year after year. I've tried others but Always come back to this brand. It works great for all my plants - flowers and veggies, fruits and herbs. It works great for seedlings and mature plants. The best fertilizer imo for all general purposes , stores without molding, doesn't burn the plants.

Really great stuff, I was using some liquid fish fertilizer, neptunes harvest before, but was looking for a more cost effective solution. Easy to apply, just dump it around your already established plants. They took off immediately after I applied it. Will definitely buy again.

I have been using this fertilizer for years. Always the best.

My mother finally gave up on trying to grow her own veggies and gave me the remnants of a bag of this food and the tomato version. My plants love them both. I grew bell peppers, habanero peppers, and jalapeño peppers from seeds and green onions from scraps. This food is on the stinky side, but the plants absolutely love it. if you are trying to grow your own food, I highly recommend this product and the tomato version. FYI: this is a huge bag. I’m going to have to find somewhere to hide it so every critter for Miles doesn’t sneak over to my yard to munch on it at night.
