It really does add volume and the colour is a nice deep black, it's not 100% water resistant but I tend not to go for them as they flake, this one does not flake at all either

I did find this one transfered under my eyes as the day went on which was disappointing. It does however lengthen lashes well and separates them too. I prefer a plastic wand over a brush personally.
