Essentials 34-Piece Around-the-House Basic Tool Kit with Black Tool Bag for Everyday Use and DIY

I purchased several of these toolkits for my son and his friends, for an all-day "tinkering" workshop we threw. The kids ranged from 8 to 11 years old. They were THRILLED with these toolkits. The tools are regular, functional tools (not "kiddie" versions) but a little more compact than usual, which was perfect for the kids. The hammer, in particular, is a great size and heft; not too big but definitely sturdy enough to hold up to some serious pounding. The cordless screwdriver is particularly useful. It's a great size and comes with a variety of useful bits. I would have like a couple more, smaller, Phillips-head bits but otherwise it is very useful. The needle-nosed pliers with built-in wire-cutter is also a useful size, although it's always scary to see kids using such a sharp item. The bag is a very nice size, with a long carrying strap as well as shorter handles. The kids loved the various pockets inside that allowed them to organize their tools. This is a great, basic toolkit for household tasks and the cordless screwdriver alone is worth the purchase price. I bought an extra one for myself and the children and I were all very pleased with the quality of this kit.

This kit is great, especially for those little tasks around the house or for crafting projects. Everything is nice and compact and fits great in the bag. So far the tools work great, I was afraid they would be cheap and flimsy but they are quality tools that get the job done. I would certainly recommend this product to a friend. This would be a great gift for anyone even as an emergency kit to keep in the car.

The cordless screwdriver is surprisingly strong, has a light focused on your work, and holds a good charge. All the tools are small - med sized but of decent quality. Throw in a good quality canvas bag and this is a no-brainer. I have a few work areas and I am now thinking about buying 1 for each, plus the house and cars because of the low price.

Truth be told, the tools are not TOP quality, but for 13 bucks you CAN'T complain. They are PERFECT for little fix up jobs around the house. These tools would NOT be appropriate for more than 30 minutes of use. But for typical house "fix up" projects like hanging a picture on the wall, mounting a bracket, leaking faucet, etc it's perfect. If you are looking for industrial quality construction tools you need to buy something else. All of the tools except the needle nose and wire cutter are smaller or one level below "standard" quality, but can get the job done. The carrying case is pretty nice too. Overall it's a steal in my opinion for what you get.

Just the right size for my son and his drum set. He needs tools when he changes hardware on his set. This tool kit is perfect size for the job!

I really like the pockets in this bag. The bag is big enough where I can throw the tools in the bag but there are holders for ease of access. This is your basic go-to tool kit for fixing problems without having to know too much about household construction. Quality is better than I expected for the price. Overall - it's perfect for my needs.

This set is only good if you plan to use it for tasks around the house. If you are in construction, a plumber, or any profession that requires a tool set like this, look elsewhere, this set is not for you. It's got a manual and electric screwdriver, and a good amount of bit heads for various screw sizes, as well as "a poor man's" version of other handy tools for simple house work or furniture assembly.

I got it for a carry bag in my car and for use at my daughter's place. Always something there she needs done. Only for small light jobs but has nearly everything for a small emergency

It make things work but the parts of the toolkit seems fragile.

This is a handy, albeit cheap, tool set in one convenient bag. These are the tools you might find at a cut rate store like Harbor Fr----, and at about the same price. The tools are arranged neatly with assigned areas for each, but since it's a bag, they will all end up in the bottom center section. These are the basics, such as one large driver, a socket for the bits, and bits for flat head screws, torx, phillips, etc. There is an electric screwdriver which comes with a 9V charger, and that is probably why I bought the assortment in the 1st place. It will come in handy for driving screws into softer materials such as drywall, pine, or pre drilled holes. I would recommend this to the housewife who could use her own set of tools without having to raid her husbands set.
