This it the perfect muted grey. It oxidizes to a shade a bit darker than in the photos. This is my favorite color of the moment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this brand of Essie nail varnish in Serene Slate. First of all the brush is amazing. The tip of the brush slightly curves, giving a very even coverage. The curve is in line with the natural nail so your only needing one brush stroke per nail. The colour is stunning. A deep slate grey colour with an intense shine. It looks like I have had my nails done at a salon using gel. They last over a week, I work full time and that includes washing dishes, house work etc so they are very durable and hard wearing. My nails feel stronger since I have started using Essie. I have added several new colours to my collection after using this one. Would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Essie Original Nail Polish 608 Serene Slate Grey is a lovely light colour that looks gorgeous as its a very pale grey that looks great with every outfit. Great for going out as well as staying in. Dries really quickly and great after only 2 coats.
